This is a meditation on balance,
Which is not necessarily staying in one centered point,
But is about shifting back and forth and allowing balance to come from alignment.
I invite you to close your eyes or go to a soft focus.
Take a deep breath and feel yourself being filled and let it go.
Whenever you're ready,
Take another deep breath and continue the cycle.
And be aware that breathing,
Like everything else,
Is not about getting that one perfect balance point between inhale and exhale.
It's about continuing the process.
Inhaling and exhaling,
Then inhaling and exhaling and keeping in that balance.
A statistician might look at breathing and say that on average you're not doing anything.
But breathing is important.
It's the same way with weather.
There are rainy days and there are sunny days,
And each contributes something valuable,
Something wonderful and important.
In the summer,
We experience long days and shorter nights.
As the season moves toward fall,
We go back into longer nights and shorter days.
If we want to,
We can label them as good or bad.
Maybe we're more pragmatic and call them preferred or not preferred.
But they all have their purpose.
Take another deep breath.
Be filled with possibility.
Take a deep breath out and relax any attachment to what those possibilities are going to look like when they show up.
Not letting go of the desire,
Just letting go of the attachment.
As we go together into the quiet,
In each breath allow the infinite to fill you with those possibilities,
With the guidance about what's next,
What's yours,
What there is for you to engage in.
And on the exhale,
Let go of any attachment that it needs to be a particular way,
Or that it has to get back to something that you had previously experienced.
Let your bossy self get out of the way so that you can be open to that next new invitation,
That next gift from Spirit.
Breathe in the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
Breathe out the possibilities.
The next blessed gift from Spirit for each of us is only a breath away.
So,
I know that we are experiencing balance between inhale and exhale,
Between bright sunshine and rainy skies,
That each example is a reminder that we are the architects of our experience.
We can set an intention for something new and then allow the Infinite to guide us into that new experience,
In whatever way it winds up appearing.
I know that love is at hand right here and right now.
I know that love is showing up for and has,
And through each one within the sound of my voice.
The light is shining.
The love is flowing.
The good is expressing.
And I am grateful for it.
Grateful for all the good that's coming into our experience right now.
Grateful for the opportunity to stand in this balance point between history and future,
With a big old invitation for good and more good and more good.
With this feeling of gratitude,
I speak this word of intention.
I release it to the creative law which has created everything.
The law which says yes to every positive and powerful intention.
And I know that the law is once again saying yes.
It always does.
It is again.
And so it is.
Amen.
Take a deep and intentional breath and let it go.
Return your attention to your body.
Bring some gentle movement to your fingers and toes.
And bring your full awareness back to the world around you.
Namaste.
