Welcome to this brief meditation on self-love.
You can do this meditation and visualization at any time throughout the day,
Upon waking or before slumber,
Or maybe just a few minutes on your walk or in your car,
To boost the feeling of love within you and all around you.
Let's begin,
If possible,
Closing down the eyes,
Inhaling deeply through the nose,
And exhale out through the mouth.
One more time,
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
This time,
As we inhale,
We will bring our awareness down to our heart,
Our heart chakra,
Maybe even placing a hand on our heart,
And imagining a green,
Bright,
Glowing light radiating from your heart.
As we inhale,
This light gets bigger and bigger.
Let's begin.
Inhale deeply into the heart space,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Holding,
And exhale,
Release.
Let's do that again.
Inhale deeply into the heart space.
Inhale,
Inhale a little bit more,
Imagining,
Visualizing that green light expanding in all directions,
And exhale.
One more time.
Inhale,
Deep breath into the heart,
Visualizing the green light,
And exhale.
Releasing your hands,
If you have your hand on your heart,
And feel the subtle and yet profound shifts occurring in just a few seconds,
A feeling that love that we're giving to ourselves,
In return,
Getting to share with the world just by being.
