Begin by taking some nice,

Deep,

Comfortable breaths in through your nose and hold each one for the mental count of three.

And then just breathe the air very slowly out of your mouth.

And as you breathe in,

Imagine breathing in calmness and relaxation.

And as you breathe out,

Breathe away any tensions or any stress that you may be experiencing.

And just feel the physical body beginning to relax,

Beginning to feel comfortable.

And I want you to mentally project yourself outside to a beautiful place in nature,

Your perfect place,

And it's a beautiful,

Warm and sunny day and you feel at peace and at one with the universe.

Imagine the warmth of the sun as it shines down over your body and you're here relaxing,

Allowing your mind to lazily drift and wander where it will.

Imagine the sounds of nature that accompany any impressions that you have.

Maybe it's the sound of waves or maybe rustling grass or a gently flowing stream.

Depending on wherever you are,

You can enjoy these feelings of comfort and peace,

Of tranquility and serenity as you allow yourself to comfortably rest and just quiet your mind.

And you're looking up at the beautiful blue sky.

It's that perfect shade that you enjoy.

And bring it into your imagination,

A soft,

Fluffy white cloud.

And it's coming your way,

Drifting slowly down from the sky like a giant marshmallow or a soft,

Warm blanket.

It's coming to you to take you on a wonderful journey,

A journey into the realms of your wonderful subconscious mind.

And the cloud wraps itself around your body,

Holding you like an infant in its mother's arms,

Safe and secure,

Warm and comfortable.

It's such a soft and fluffy cloud.

And you snuggle yourself down and relax even further as it carries you up,

Up into the sky.

Now feel yourself being lifted into the air on this beautiful day,

Feeling safe and secure,

Feeling content.

It's such a comfortable feeling to allow yourself to be carried away on a warm summer breeze on a day like today.

Looking down on the earth below you,

You can see matchbox-sized villages scattered around,

Little valleys and hills and winding roads and miniature rivers or streams.

And you're lazily drifting away.

Allow yourself to be carried away,

Feeling so safe and so comfortable and so,

So relaxed.

And this cloud can carry you wherever you want to go.

So just think of a place where you'd like to be and feel yourself heading towards that place on this perfect day.

And when you're ready and you feel yourself there,

Feel yourself beginning to descend,

Going down deeper and deeper and deeper relaxed,

Drifting gently and lazily down to a comfortable place deep within you.

And as you settle yourself down and the cloud begins to unfold,

Observe as it detaches itself from you and floats into the air.

And the cloud stretches out and as it floats a little further away,

Notice how it's spelling your name.

That's right.

Your name is written in the cloud.

See the letters?

There it is,

Your name written in your cloud.

And a soft and gentle breeze is coming along to blow away your cloud and your name and see how the cloud is being blown away and how it begins to disperse.

And all that matters is this wonderfully calm,

Relaxing feeling.

For a while now,

You've been experiencing feelings of anger.

And when we focus on negative aspects,

They often tend to become a reality.

And that's why you've decided that you want to lift yourself out of those unwanted emotions and live your life to the fullest.

So allow yourself to relax even more as you drift into this wonderful,

Calm and comfortable feeling.

You might be pleasantly surprised to discover that you can learn how to displace all those uncomfortable feelings of frustration outside of yourself.

So just think about all those situations that contributed towards your frustration for a moment or two.

Notice where those feelings seem to affect you most.

Some people notice their stomach muscles.

Others may have a tight band around their chest.

Just be aware for a second or two where it's affecting you most.

And then when you're ready,

Allow all those uncomfortable feelings and the reasons behind them to float out and away from your body.

Maybe you can follow with your eyes whatever it was that caused you to feel frustrated as it leaves your body and forms a dark,

Heavy,

Gray rain cloud.

In a moment,

Have a strong and sudden gust of wind just come down and blow that heavy,

Dark,

Gray cloud away.

I'll count to three.

And at the count of three,

I want you to imagine as vividly as you can a huge gust of wind blowing that cloud away.

That's right,

Blowing it right out of your life.

So are you ready?

One,

Here comes the wind.

Two,

See the cloud hovering above you.

And three,

Experience that forceful wind blowing over and above your body and blowing that gray rain cloud out of your life forever.

As the rain cloud rapidly disappears over the horizon,

You immediately feel a wonderful sense of relief.

Knowing that you're free from anger.

Doesn't it feel good to have those feelings lifted away?

And in your mind,

In your imagination,

I want you to place yourself into a beautiful place in nature,

A place where there are no worries or cares,

No stress or frustration,

Just wonderful feelings of peace and relaxation.

It's a sense of relief and freedom.

It's as though a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders and your body and mind feel immediately lighter and more comfortable.

So I'm going to show you how to use this technique whenever you want to,

Whenever you need to,

So that the buildup of frustration or anger that you previously experienced easily dissolves,

Leaving you feeling just as relieved and as happy as you feel now.

So let's begin by looking for something in your life that's not working for you.

Maybe it's a relationship,

Maybe it's an event that you feel like you have no control over.

Only you know the reasons that have been causing you anger and frustration.

So be quiet for a moment or two to allow your subconscious mind to bring this information to you.

Good.

Now,

I'm sure that you feel that you've done everything you possibly can to make this part of your life run smoothly,

And there may be influences that seem to be out of your control.

However,

Your wonderful subconscious mind can dream up different approaches and ways to diffuse difficult circumstances.

And I'm sure that you've done an excellent job so far in dealing with this issue.

However,

There is always room for improvement.

And you recognize that while you can't change other people and the way that they feel and act,

What you can do is to change the way that you react and feel about situations.

So use your wonderful,

Creative,

Dreaming mind and explore new possibilities,

Avenues that you have yet to pursue,

Different approaches,

Modes of thinking and feeling,

And practical ways of dealing with awkward people and circumstances.

Sometimes we can find it difficult to see the wood for the trees.

When we're in this situation,

It's often not until we're distanced from it that we can see how it really is.

So I would like your subconscious mind to identify three possible different ways of improving the situation.

So go ahead and take a long,

Deep breath.

And let your mind inform you of other ways of dealing with the situation.

Good.

And knowing that you can improve one area of your life without being angry or frustrated means that you can deal efficiently with so many more of the situations that have been bothering you lately.

Whatever frustrations or anger arises in you,

Find yourself exploring alternatives and think to yourself,

How can I deal with this differently?

And when you come up against situations that can't be changed,

Then instead you accept them and allow the feelings that would previously build up in you to flow away and form into that dark,

Heavy rain cloud.

And the next thing you know is the large gust of wind blowing that rain cloud away as you're transported once again to your paradise place in nature where there are no worries or cares,

Nothing can bother you,

And you feel safe and secure,

Happy and free.

And you use this technique whenever you need to,

Whenever you want to,

And as a result you feel happier and more in control.

Good.

So believing it,

Feeling it,

Knowing it,

Whenever you're ready,

Open up your eyes and notice how good you feel.
