This short mindfulness meditation is for those who like to wake up each morning with a reminder that the shining sun is always up there, sparkling in the sky, even on our cloudiest of days. At just under 9 minutes long, Morning Uplift is set to gentle and warm music, with peaks of subtle power radiating from within. Voiced by Chris, we begin by checking in on ourselves to see how we're feeling, followed by some peaceful breathwork and self-empowering affirmations. Good morning,

And welcome to Raise Meditation.

Today,

I will be guiding you through a meditation entitled Morning Uplift.

Before we begin,

I'd like for you to close your eyes and focus on your body.

Can you readjust to release any tension or to get more comfortable?

If so,

Make those movements now.

How is your internal landscape?

How are you feeling emotionally as this new day begins?

Take a couple moments to check in with yourself now.

Next,

Bring your focus to the breath.

Let's take three deep breaths together now.

Inhale,

Hold it,

And exhale out.

Again,

Inhale,

Hold,

And exhale.

Once more,

Inhale,

Hold,

And exhale.

Let us begin with some gratitude.

As this new day unfolds,

Remember that the world is yours for the taking.

This beautiful new day holds the capacity for new knowledge,

New adventures,

And a fresh outlook on life.

Let's explore some affirmations.

After I speak the following statements,

Repeat each one to yourself.

Try to embody the sentiments as you do so.

Feel the words flow throughout your body and mind.

I am healthy.

I am curious and love to learn new things.

I'm open to opportunities that come my way and look forward to the unknown.

I am thankful.

No matter what circumstances my day brings,

I know that I am growing from them.

Again,

I am healthy.

I am curious and love to learn new things.

I am thankful.

Let's take a minute of mindfulness now.

I'll set the timer,

And we will begin and end with a chime.

Try to keep your mind as clear as you can,

Focusing on the spaciousness you find there.

If you get distracted by thoughts,

Gently bring your mind back to the present moment.

We will begin now.

Remember,

A brand new day lies before you.

This day is a gift and holds so much to be thankful for.

Say a silent thank you and find something you're grateful for at this very moment.

Feel that gratitude infuse your heart and entire chest.

Let a smile come to your face as the joy spreads upwards.

Gently open your eyes and see if you can feel the joy twinkle outwards from them.

Make the very best of this day,

Spreading joy,

Gratitude,

And exuberance for life wherever you go.

As the wise Gandhi once said,

Be the change you wish to see in the world.
