Celebrate What Is Working
Sometimes the simplest practices can create the biggest shifts. In this reflection, I share a small daily ritual that has been helping me notice what is working, even on ordinary days and challenging ones. This practice invites you to pause, celebrate small moments, and reconnect with the goodness that already exists in your life. If this reflection resonated with you, you’re welcome to explore more meditations, nature soundscapes, and gentle practices through this online space. Music by Chris Collins. This space is for intuitive and sensitive souls.
For those who feel deeply and appreciate moments of reflection,
Rest,
And connection.
How is your month unfolding?
Recently while I was lifting weights at the gym.
I listened to another podcast that offered a simple reminder.
Celebrate.
So lately,
During my daily walks,
I've been practicing something small.
For a few minutes,
I name what's actually working in my life.
Even on hard days.
Even on rainy days.
And I begin each reflection the same way.
I celebrate.
So here's an example of one of my recent walks.
I celebrate the flowers blossoming.
I celebrate the rain nourishing the earth.
I celebrate having enough money for groceries and bills.
I celebrate being able to take long walks again.
I celebrate publishing two books.
I celebrate talking with a dear friend today.
I celebrate recording videos that share healing practices.
I celebrate walking beside the ocean and listening to the waves.
I celebrate the birds singing hello.
This simple practice has been slowly shifting something in me.
And reminds me of the beauty of each day.
And of the small blessings woven through each day.
And sometimes that remembering changes the texture of a day.
So perhaps today,
You might pause for a moment and ask yourself,
What do I celebrate right now?
Even if the answer feels simple or small.
Especially then.
The little moments.
That make magic in our life if we're paying attention.
If you'd like,
Share what you're celebrating lately.
Either in the comments.
Or with someone you feel comfortable with.
And may you remember the goodness that is already present in your life.
And remember that you are held by the earth.
