Welcome to Earth Yoga Nidra.

Create a yoga nidra nest.

Cover yourself with a blanket and fluff a pillow underneath you if that feels good for your body.

And as you adjust yourself and settle into this cozy spot,

Notice how the earth is holding you.

Feel the points of contact with the ground and notice how you're connecting with this planet that we call home as you perch in your yoga nidra nest.

Find yourself settling into a position that feels like a still lake,

Serene and quiet.

Notice the stillness within you.

Feel how you're connected to the trees,

The ground and the sky as you continue to breathe.

Notice how your lungs fill with air.

The earth provides you with plenty of oxygen.

Notice how your chest rises and falls as you continue to breathe with help from the trees.

All of you is welcome here on this earth.

Every part of you is welcome as you notice sensations,

Thoughts and emotions.

Observe whatever rises without needing to judge yourself.

Become aware of your whole body,

Including the left and right side together.

Become aware of your whole body as it's cradled by the earth.

Your cells are vibrating in harmony.

Trillions of cells vibrating.

Vibrating in connection with the earth.

Be aware of your lungs filling with air.

Observe your nose inhaling and exhaling.

And notice any fragrances from the earth that surround you.

Feel the pulse of the earth as you continue to vibrate in harmony.

If you notice any thoughts or sensations that arise,

Just witness it without judgment.

Feel the earth vibrating in harmony with you.

Now visualize a nature sanctuary that brings you peace and helps you to feel light and airy.

It can be a real place you visited or it can be a place that you make up.

Notice what sounds you hear in this nature sanctuary.

Do you hear the sounds of water or birds or the wind?

What other sounds do you notice?
