This exercise is best practiced with the shoes removed as you sit upright in a chair or stand,
The back straight and the shoulders relaxed,
Both feet flat on the ground,
Approximately hip distance apart.
If you're seated,
Allow your hands to rest on your knees or in your lap,
The palms open,
Facing upward.
If you're standing,
You might raise your arms slightly and allow the open palms to face the sky.
Or you can simply allow the arms to rest gently at your sides,
Palms facing directly outward.
Close your eyes and breathe.
Give focus to your feet and the space just beyond the soles.
In that space,
You might begin to notice a slight stirring of brilliant white light energy.
It might seem like a soft pulse or swirl.
On the next inhalation,
Allow that energy to enter the body through the soles of the feet and begin to rise up into the legs.
Notice how the energy continues drawing upward with each inhalation into the ankles and shins,
The knees and thighs,
The hips.
Allow any remaining tension in the lower extremities to release as they are strengthened and supported by the rising white light energy.
You might feel a pleasant tingling beneath the skin and become aware of a sense of joy and rightness.
Turn your notice now to the space just beyond the palms of your hands.
As with the feet,
Open your awareness to the slight stirring of white light ready to enter the body.
With the next inhalation,
Begin to pull that energy into the center of both palms and feel the support as it fills the hands,
Arms,
Shoulders,
Chest,
And abdomen.
The tingling that began in the legs might begin rising up from the hands into the arms and torso.
Notice how the light rising up from the feet joins the light flowing into the body from the hands and how the torso is filled,
Comforted,
And supported by that combining energy.
With each inhalation,
Allow the energy of white light to continue rising up into the throat,
The neck,
Jaw,
Face,
And head.
As you continue to breathe,
Notice how your whole body feels filled with the energy of the brilliant white light,
Supported by it,
Strengthened.
The tingling sensation might be coursing through your whole body now.
Continue to breathe as you allow that energy to support and flow through you.
In a moment,
You'll open your eyes,
Renewed and fortified,
Filled with the white light energy that is always at the ready to support you in this world.
You have merely to breathe at him.
