Find a comfortable position.
Close your eyes.
I want to ask you something.
When did you first learn that you weren't enough?
Not as a question to sit in.
Just as a gentle acknowledgement.
Because somewhere,
At some point.
.
.
Someone or something taught you that you needed to be more,
Do more,
Be different.
And some part of you believed it.
Why not go and force that belief away?
We're just going to sit with it and then offer it something different.
Take three slow breaths.
Let each exhale be twice as long as the inhale.
Feel the ground beneath you.
The solid,
Unchanging fact of it.
You don't have to do anything to be held by it.
It simply holds you.
Now bring to mind the voice in your head that tells you you're not enough.
You know the one.
Don't engage with it,
Just observe it.
Notice its tone.
Timing,
The particular things it tends to say.
Here's something worth knowing.
That voice isn't you.
It's a protection mechanism.
A voice that thought if it kept you small,
It would keep you safe.
It's learned this somewhere.
It was trying to help.
You can thank it quietly and ask it to step back.
I want you to repeat these slowly with one hand resting on your heart.
Lets them land in your body,
Not just your mind.
I am worthy of love exactly as I am.
My value is not measured by my productivity.
I release the need to earn my place in this world.
I am allowed to take up space.
Imagine the person you love most in the world.
Picture them the way you see them on a hard day.
Tired,
Struggling,
Doubting themselves.
What would you say to them?
How would you hold them?
Notice how easily the warmth comes,
How instinctive the compassion is.
Now turn that toward yourself.
The same wall.
The same gentleness.
You deserve everything you would give to them.
Take a deep breath.
Let it fill you completely.
You came into this world enough.
Nothing that has happened since has changed that,
And nothing ever will.
Carry that with you today.
Come back whenever you need reminding.
