Here is a guided meditation inspired by the teachings of Eckhart Tolle.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position or lying down,

And take a few deep breaths.

Inhaling calmness and exhaling any tension or worry.

As you continue breathing slowly and deeply,

Bring your awareness to the present moment.

Feel the sensation of your breath as it enters and leaves your body.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest or abdomen with each breath.

Now shift your attention to your body.

Feel the weight of your body on the surface beneath you.

Allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension you may be holding.

As you stay present in this moment,

Become aware of any thoughts that arise.

Instead of attaching yourself to them,

Simply observe them without judgment.

Let them pass,

Be like clouds in the sky,

Allowing them to drift away.

Notice how you are feeling,

Without trying to change or analyze it.

Embrace whatever emotions come up with compassion and acceptance.

Now expand your awareness to your surroundings.

Notice any sounds,

Smells or sensations around you.

Be fully present in this moment,

Taking in the richness of your environment.

Finally,

Take a moment to express gratitude with this present moment and for yourself.

Thank yourself for taking this time to cultivate presence and mindfulness.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the room and open your eyes.

Take a few more deep breaths before slowly returning to your day.
