Allow yourself to relax and receive clarity, vision and courage to walk your path in the world. Through the use of focused concentration on the breath and body awareness, you will be guided to release stress or tension and expand your sense of connectedness to a power greater than yourself.

We will now begin by taking a few slow deep breaths in.

In and out.

In and out.

Wherever you are seated or lying down,

Go ahead and continue focusing on your breathing.

Taking a nice deep belly breath in and out.

Using your body and lower abdomen with all of that oxygen.

Now as you relax even more deeply into your breath,

Just allow your whole body to begin to relax now.

In further.

In and out.

In and out.

Relaxing totally and completely.

Feeling the muscles around your face,

Your chin and your jaw and just unwind.

Go ahead and feel the slow movement of the breath.

Feeling your belly with oxygen flowing through your nostrils down into your stomach and slowly exhaling.

Feeling the belly unwinding and compressing back into yourself.

Do this a few times on your own,

Just allowing yourself to relax and unwind.

And as you move deeper into your breath,

Feeling all parts of you relaxing totally and completely.

Like you to go ahead and imagine in your mind's eye a beautiful mirror appearing in front of you.

See your image reflected back in that mirror,

Sitting or laying so peacefully,

So deeply relaxed.

And as you watch yourself breathing in that mirror,

I'd like you to go ahead and imagine your reflection is now changing.

Imagine it like ripples moving across the surface of the mirror.

And as those ripples move across the mirror,

Go ahead and imagine or pretend that a future you is now being reflected in that mirror.

This reflection is a version of yourself sometime in the future that has been given so much self-love,

So much compassion,

Nurturing,

And support to achieve all the goals you want to achieve in your life.

Just notice what this future you looks like.

What are you wearing here?

Breathing deeply,

Notice how this future you feels in their body now that they know how to love themselves both inside and out.

What is that future you doing in that mirror?

What type of work and activities are you involved in?

What kinds of relationships are you surrounded with?

Breathing in deeply,

Truly allow yourself to see this image of you surrounded by the types of friends and relationships you want to be in that help support you in generating more self-love and self-care.

Feeling and feeling what that looks like for you,

Reflected back in the mirror in front of you.

What do you do for yourself in this future version of you that allows you to care for yourself in a deeper way?

Whatever that might be,

Just allow yourself to truly visualize it in your mind's eye.

And once you truly see yourself in that mirror as the future you,

You want to be.

Feeling and looking exactly the way you imagine it.

Feeling so confident,

Comfortable,

And carefree.

So confident and comfortable in the skin you are in.

And glowing with joy and feeling alive in the body you are given.

You can go ahead and breathe in deeply.

And now imagine that that reflection is stepping out of the mirror and walking closer and closer to where you are sitting or lying right here and now.

Just relax and imagine that reflection of you moving closer and closer to where you are right now.

So close that that image of you in the future is now beginning to melt into your skin and your bones.

And you feel so much more confident.

So much more carefree and alive.

Knowing that that future you is now here in this room.

Right here and now.

You are now filled with the confidence,

Compassion,

And open heartedness that comes from knowing how to truly and deeply love yourself and be able to give yourself this love in the way you are wanting and needing.

Breathing in deeply for another moment.

Feeling so rested,

Calm,

And relaxed.

So rested,

Calm,

And relaxed.

Feeling at peace and at ease in the body you are in.

Feeling integrated and whole.

Love with love and compassion for yourself in every way.

And when you are ready,

Slowly begin to come back now.

Feeling your breath moving through your belly.

Beginning to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Breathing all the way back into your body,

Into the room.

And when you are ready,

You can open your eyes.
