I don't think there's that much information about what it's like to really live the journey.
I mean,
Often the journey starts kind of in unhappiness.
You feel like you don't understand your life,
You don't understand the society.
Often there's something like,
Well,
Somebody broke up with you,
Or you lost a job,
Or something didn't work.
And that tends to catalyze us into contemplating our lives.
And that's when,
You know,
Often we'll awaken.
But it's not bad that it happens that way.
I mean,
That's just human.
And then,
You know,
When you're on the journey,
And you're taking steps,
And sometimes it doesn't seem to be moving very quickly,
You keep banging into the same problems you've always sort of banged into.
And that's what happens on the journey.
I mean,
All the ego stuff comes up to be cleared.
But,
You know,
As I've said many times,
Our soul does it for us.
All we have to do is keep siding with our deeper heart intelligence.
And,
You know,
Our minds have to learn how to go along with it,
Or our intellects,
Really.
But our hearts,
No.
And sometimes there's just a big ache in the heart.
And so we just walk around with an ache in our heart,
And nothing seems to help.
But then maybe we take a step towards somebody,
Maybe somebody is in trouble,
And we take a movement step to help them.
And we notice our pain goes down.
And in fact,
We get those endorphins.
And maybe if we encountered that person at a deep level,
You know,
Help them kind of with a whole heart in a deep level,
We actually move more into our soul energy as a result.
I mean,
Helping people is one of the quickest ways to evolve,
But not like signing up to volunteer somewhere.
You need more something that comes from your heart,
More a direct experience with another individual,
Where you reach out and you go beyond your usual comfort zone.
And you kind of your hearts meet.
You know,
One of the reasons I do this work with people is because when I'm working with somebody,
I learn too.
I become more loving as a result.
As a result,
It's kind of like,
You know,
Chris said,
You know,
It is better to give than to receive.
And I really do think maybe it's because when you do give,
You receive at the same time.
But again,
It's giving from the heart,
Not just,
You know,
Signing up for volunteer work,
Although that can help too.
But it's,
It's more like,
You know,
If somebody's in the supermarket short of money,
And you pay an extra $10 for the groceries,
It's that kind of stuff.
We're smiling at somebody who looks down,
You know,
Somebody today,
I was in the shop,
And somebody said,
Oh,
You've got wonderful hair,
You look like an angel.
And I was like,
Wow,
That's so nice.
And I immediately came,
You know,
I said to her,
Hey,
You've got great hair,
Too.
And you've got a great personality.
And she was a bit overwhelmed.
She didn't expect a big,
A big,
You know,
Heart give from me.
But bless her heart.
We could be just,
You know,
Coming out of our long faces and sour thoughts and just reaching out to each other more.
Okay.
Just wanted to say this.
Bless your heart.
