I am often surprised by how much power the external world has over us and how small and insignificant we perceive ourselves to be in comparison with it.
When we shut our eyes and look within,
What we see is a rich world of streaming thoughts,
Sensations,
Emotions,
Memories,
Dreams and fears.
This world can often be deceptive,
But the longer you stay on this path,
The more you'll encounter the quiet stillness,
The inner silence,
Blossoming a sense of well-being,
The joy and bliss,
The very core of our self,
Of our existence.
I believe there is an invaluable treasure hidden deep within each of us that's often ignored and buried underneath the desire for finding the same somewhere outside in the world.
When we limit our identity to our physical form,
When we take our value and sense of worth from outside of us,
We can't help but feel a sense of insecurity and fear,
The fear of losing those things that we cling to,
Which somehow became our source of existence and mark of identity.
Shine light on those things within you that often go unnoticed amidst the hustle-buzzle and busyness of life.
Close your eyes now,
Melt into the sensations of your breath,
Feel the blood flowing in your veins,
Go beyond the darkness behind your eyelids as they gently close,
They open doors to a whole new world inside of you,
A world of wonders waiting to be explored.
If you look outside for fulfillment,
You're just fighting a losing battle,
Dear one.
If your happiness depends on money,
You'll never be happy with yourself.
Instead,
Look within you.
Shine light into those labyrinth of dark caves that hold the treasure trove of wisdom to which only you have access to.
Take that leap,
Make that journey,
For that'll be the most fulfilling journey you'll ever make.
Be content with what you have,
Celebrate the way things are.
The moment you realize there is nothing lacking,
That everything you are seeking outside is within you,
The whole world belongs to you.
Look within,
Dear one,
Open the door,
For the key is in your hand.
Nobody else can open that except you.
Look within and you will feel the connection to the entire universe,
Your connection to all living things,
The deep unconditional love you have for this world and the immense gratitude you have for your life.
Look within and you'll find the ecstatic joy and bliss,
The innate wisdom and awareness you are born with,
The inner light of your very being that shines so bright.
Look beyond the fabric of thoughts,
Feelings and sensations.
All that you find is nothingness,
The emptiness,
The void.
It's empty but it's full of space.
Feel the silence,
Feel the comfort in the quietness.
Pause,
Breathe and allow the stillness to engulf you.
Let go and lose yourself.
The universe is not outside of you.
Look within you beautiful,
Everything that you desire to be,
You are already that.
Look beyond the fabric of thoughts,
Feelings and sensations.
