Letting Go | Setting It Down
by Susie Dryden
Think of something you’ve been carrying, whether it’s a grudge, a regret, or a moment you keep replaying, and notice how much weight it takes to hold on. This gentle meditation honors why you held on, without judgment, and offers a different question: is it still serving me? You don’t have to forgive anyone today, and letting go isn’t the same as saying it was okay. With a slow breath out, you’ll imagine setting it down like a heavy bag, not throwing it or forcing it, only releasing your grip. It will still be there if you need it, but for now your hands are free. A compassionate practice using breath awareness and visualization.
