She has to let go.
For years,
She's lived in the in-between.
One foot in,
One foot out.
Some might say,
On the fence.
Indecisive.
In and out.
Hot and cold.
Unsteady.
This in-between is not peace.
It is chaotic,
Unbalanced,
And causes a lot of suffering.
She's likened this in-between to having one foot in a boat,
Almost ready to sail away to peace and freedom,
And the other foot still on the dock,
Fear holding her back from making the final move,
The final choice,
The final decision.
Living in-between is not peace.
Peace comes from making a decision,
From making a choice,
And we are always at choice.
She can't go far with one foot in the boat,
And one remaining on the dock.
She remains essentially stuck.
Not going anywhere.
Not making any progress.
Stuck in place.
She has been stuck in place for years.
Her health and well-being paying the price for remaining in the in-between.
It's time to make a decision.
Time to make a choice.
Will she allow fear to keep her stuck,
Taking the one foot out of the boat and staying on the dock,
Or will she gently lift the other foot into the boat,
And set sail into a new life of unknowns,
Unfamiliarities,
And possibilities.
Only she can choose.
No one is stopping her.
The dock provides safety,
Familiarity,
And comfort.
The boat allows for change,
A new way of living,
A new way of being,
An opportunity to rise above.
Will she rise above to possibilities and choice,
Or will she succumb to the fear and pains of the past?
May she make the right decision for her heart and soul.
Namaste.
