She spent her life.
Being the conductor.
The orchestrator.
The doer of her life.
Manipulating,
Forcing,
Controlling.
Willing.
Wishing.
Wanting.
For things to go her way.
She thought she knew best for herself,
For her life,
And even for others.
Making things happen.
Making choices out of need.
Desperation.
Urgency.
And laugh.
She believed she was in charge.
She believed she held the manual to life in her hands.
After years of making quick decisions,
Pressuring herself and others to do things her way.
She is finally beginning to know,
Not just believe.
She indeed does not hold the manual to her life in her hands.
She is not in control.
Nor has she ever been.
Life is.
Life with a capital L.
The more she awakens to this realization.
Accepting,
Allowing,
And letting go.
The easier her life is becoming.
She likes the phrase she coined herself.
Life keeps on lifing.
When she lets go of control,
Life flows smoothly,
Effortlessly,
As it is meant to.
When she stops forcing what isn't flowing.
Life moves at a gentle pace.
No chaos.
Like water passing over rocks in a riverbed.
Unobstructed.
Naturally flowing.
Reflecting on her life.
She sees the times,
Her control,
Manipulation,
Enforcing.
Created nothing but pain,
Suffering,
And chaos for herself and for others.
There was nothing smooth about it.
As she slowly,
Gently begins to let go.
Allowing life to keep lifing.
Peace and love become more present and available.
Tensions release.
The mind and body relax.
And softness is able to arise.
A sort of gentleness.
A tenderness towards herself.
Towards life.
And towards others.
Peace is possible if we let life do the choosing.
May you be safe.
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you live with peace and ease.
Namaste
