I offer my respects to the Divine.

I will repeat this mantra several times,

Giving you a chance to become familiar with it.

Try to sit as straight as possible,

Keeping your back and head straight,

And just try to stay focused on hearing the mantra.

It feels odd to chant from a spiritual tradition far removed from my cultural tradition, but I wonder if continuing will open me more up to greater acceptance and understanding of the ways in which all is one. I will practice.
