Praying scripture back to God.

Eight movements for the soul that is hungry to express,

Receive,

And grow in the light of Christ.

Adoration.

Psalm 139 verse 13.

For you created my inmost being.

You knit me together in my mother's womb.

Pause to express your thoughts of praise and worship.

Adoration.

Confession.

Psalm 95 verse 6.

I come,

Worship,

And bow down.

I kneel before the Lord my Maker.

Adoration.

Ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas that need spiritual light.

Then with gratitude,

Express your appreciation for God's work in your heart.

Adoration.

Renewal.

Deuteronomy 31 verse 6.

I will be strong and courageous.

I will not fear or be in dread of anyone.

For it is the Lord my God who goes with me.

God will not leave me or forsake me.

Adoration.

Pause to add your own prayers for personal renewal.

Adoration.

Petition.

Matthew 28 verse 18-20.

I will be strong and courageous.

I will not fear or be in dread of anyone.

Adoration.

Growth in Christ.

Have an increased desire to know God.

A deepening of love and commitment to God.

A deepening of grace to practice God's presence.

Grace to glorify God in my life.

My activities for this day.

My special concerns.

The compassion through receive.

Intercession.

Romans 8,

38,

And 39.

For I am sure that neither death nor life,

Nor angels,

Nor rulers,

Nor things present,

Nor things to come,

Nor powers,

Nor height,

Nor depth,

Nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus,

My Lord.

Now take a few moments and pray for the churches and ministries that you are acquainted with in your community.

Pray for your local church.

Pray for other churches.

Evangelism and discipleship ministries.

Ephesians 3,

14-19.

That I,

Being rooted and grounded in love,

May have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,

And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge,

That I may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Pause to offer your own expressions of thanksgiving.

Closing prayer.

1 Corinthians 13,

8-13.

Love never ends.

As for prophecies,

They will pass away.

As for tongues,

They will cease.

As for knowledge,

It will pass away.

For I know in part,

And I will prophesy in part.

But when the perfect comes,

The partial will pass away.

When I was a child,

I spoke as a child,

I thought as a child,

I reasoned as a child.

When I became an adult,

I gave up childish ways.

For now I see in a mirror dimly,

But then face to face.

Now I know in part,

Then I shall know fully,

Even as I have fully been known.

So now faith,

Hope,

And love abide.

These three.

But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13,

8-13.

Love never ends.

As for prophecies,

They will pass away.

As for tongues,

They will pass away.

As for knowledge,

They will pass away.

When I was a child,

I saw in part,

Then I saw in part.

When I became an adult,

I saw in part.

But when I became an adult,

I saw in part.

I saw in part,

Then I saw in part.

Thanks for adding the time for personal reflection and prayer! I hope you do others like this that are based on characteristics or topics we struggle with and have biblical verses that align.

I agree with Bill Ted, Insight Timer is lacking meditations for followers of Christ. Extremely grateful for this, brought me to tears soaking in God's Word and love. Please, be encouraged and continue to do this blessed work. God bless you!

So thankful to have found you Ryan on Insight Timer. Reading scripture vs scripture read to you has enriched my time in the word immensely and I did not quite expect this. Perhaps being in a meditative state has endless benefits. Looking forward to seeing more of your meditations here ! 💗💙💚💛💜
