Welcome to today's end of year meditation.
Find a comfortable and quiet space to sink in.
You can sit,
You can lay down,
Just make yourself cozy and comfy as we will be here for the next 10 minutes.
Allow your eyes to softly fall and begin to shift your focus towards your breath.
Take a collective deep breath in through the nose and exhale out through the mouth of the nose.
As you inhale,
Invite awareness into your body.
As you exhale,
Soften and release.
Relax your shoulders away from your ears.
Relax your jaw.
Release your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
Your whole body is moving into a state of openness.
Notice your belly rise and fall with each breath.
And start to notice the quality of your breath.
Is it shallow,
Deep?
Is it quiet or loud?
Just simply observe these sensations without any judgment.
No need to change or fix anything.
Just notice.
As you continue to breathe,
Ask yourself what intention you'd like to set.
Say to yourself or out loud,
My intention is.
.
.
And fill in the blank.
How do you hope to feel as you close the chapter on this year and turn the page to a brand new year?
Whatever your intention is,
Allow it to flow with the breath.
Intentions allow us to paint the picture of what we want to see and how we hope to feel onto a blank canvas.
And when we express those intentions,
It helps bring clarity and a direction to move forward into.
Now I want you to visualize one of the most challenging moments of this past year.
Imagine that it's a red ball of hot energy right there in front of you and you are staring right at it,
Confronting it,
Not pushing it away.
And I want you to breathe it in.
Breathe it all in as it's an experience that has shaped you and is now a part of you.
And as you exhale,
Imagine golden,
Vibrant energy being released into the air all around you,
Holding you,
Supporting you.
With every breath,
You become stronger and more resilient as the things we experience in this life are building blocks that push us to grow,
Adapt,
And evolve into who we are meant to be.
You you you you you you you come back to the intention you said at the beginning of this practice and when you imagine this new intention imagine it fully with each of your five senses visualize your life and what it feels like to be fully living your intentions imagine you are living in this new year what do you see how do you feel what do you smell what can you taste what do you hear remember that this beautiful and incredible inner strength you are cultivating right now is always present within you and you can access it at any time as this practice slowly comes to an end set your intentions free whatever that may mean to you take another deep breath in and as you exhale begin to move your body gently slowly stretching wiggling the toes wiggling your nose your eyebrows and when you are ready softly open your eyes
