As you spend some time with yourself X years in the future, you have the chance to ask questions, get crystal clear on what's most important to you, & receive support & perspective on what's going on in your life now. Know that you can always call on your future self for guidance & clarity. Walk away feeling clear, inspired & anchored. Grab a journal & pen, & let's get started!

Hello,
This is a future self guided meditation visualization.
I'm gonna go ahead and get started.
I would love to invite you to set up your space so that you are in the best position to get the most out of this visualization.
So what this might look like for you might be lighting a candle,
Turning your notifications off,
Maybe shutting your door.
You might want to grab one of your favorite crystals or some incense.
Just really anything that's going to make this space feel really sacred and boundaried for you.
I also encourage you to take a hold of a pen and a journal.
We'll do a little journaling when this is through.
So once you set up your space,
We will get started.
Feel free to pause this video.
So thank you so much for joining me.
We're going to start this meditation by ringing the singing bowl so breathing in prepare for sound.
Feel your eyes to close or just soften them if you want to keep your eyes open.
Placing your hands on your body,
Maybe one hand over your heart,
One on your low abdomen.
Start to breathe in gently.
And as you exhale,
Dropping down,
Dropping down,
Feeling so rooted,
Breathing in,
Exhaling,
Imagining roots growing from your tailbone down,
Down,
Down to the center of the earth.
And then breathing from the core of the earth,
That energy all the way up to the crown of the head,
Exhaling,
Breathing back down,
Down,
Down,
Feeling rooted.
As you breathe in,
Opening,
Lifting your energy all the way up to the crown of your head.
Inviting a few sighs in,
We'll breathe in deeply from the bottoms of the feet.
Exhale side out.
Breathing in.
Exhale sigh of relief.
One more time,
Breathing in through the bottoms of the feet like a wave of breath.
Exhale let it go,
Feel your shoulders drop down your back body,
Your heart open,
Your spine nice and tall.
Allowing your eyes to close if that's comfortable for you.
We'll begin this visualization journey together.
Want to invite you to travel to a place that is very special to you,
A place where you have felt very calm,
About joy here,
Happiness.
This place could be real or imagined.
It's a place at the beach or perhaps by a mountain.
Maybe it's just something in your imagination,
A place that you've dreamt up in your mind's eye.
Want you to go there.
Notice as you look around what's around you.
What are the sounds,
The sights,
And noticing any smells.
Feeling your sense of touch,
Maybe the feel of the ground underneath your feet.
Feeling the sensation of your clothes against your skin or maybe even the breeze against your skin.
I want you to begin to become aware of a beautiful light beam.
This light beam is in front of you in your space and you're aware that you can step into this light beam.
Notice the light beam's color and as you step into it,
It starts to bring you from the earth all the way up.
You're starting to float higher and higher on this light beam until you're noticing the space below you is getting smaller and smaller.
Houses and the people starting to look like little specks,
Little ants as you're traveling up higher and higher on this light beam.
Feeling totally weightless,
Totally supported.
As you look down,
You start to notice you're seeing the earth from all the way out in outer space.
You can see the oceans,
Blue,
And the lush forests of green from this super faraway place.
And in this meditation,
We're going to be traveling to pay a visit to your future self.
Take a moment now and decide which future self would you like to visit.
You might pick five years from now,
10 years,
20 years,
30 years.
Take a moment now and decide which version of yourself you want to visit.
As you've made your decision,
Notice that there's another light beam in front of you.
It's a different color.
This light beam is going to take you back down to earth to visit this future self.
Stepping with one foot and then the other.
Maybe you would take a big leap.
Find yourself on that next color light beam as you start to travel down,
Down,
Down closer towards the earth.
This blue-green globe starting to come closer into view.
As you come closer and closer to the earth,
Like you're in an airplane landing,
Start to notice what part of the world you're in.
Maybe you're noticing mountains or oceans.
Eventually come all the way down onto the earth and you land softly and safely.
Take a moment to look around.
Are you in a city bustling with people and shops?
Are you in the country?
Maybe noticing if you're in the United States or maybe you're in a new country.
Noticing what it looks like in this neighborhood where your future self lives.
Look around.
Are you noticing if you have any neighbors?
Then you see just ahead is where your future self lives.
You notice the house or perhaps it's the apartment in a big city.
I want you to look all around.
Noticing maybe is there a yard?
Do you notice a garden?
Maybe there's kids playing outside or animals.
Noticing how this place is decorated.
Bring your eyes to the front door.
Start to walk towards it.
Getting ready to meet your future self.
And as you knock on the front door,
You prepare to meet your future self.
She opens the door with a smile.
So excited to meet you.
She wraps you in a big warm hug,
Smiling.
She invites you in.
She's been waiting for you.
And as you enter into her house,
Look around.
Notice how she has decorated the walls.
You're noticing is anybody else home?
Maybe noticing what books she has on her bookshelves or on her coffee table.
Noticing if there's any plants or flowers.
Noticing just the general style and vibe of her home.
How do you feel when you're in this home?
How would you describe the essence of this place?
Your future self guides you further into the home and she invites you to take a seat in one of the rooms of the house.
Maybe noticing which room did she take you to.
Maybe she took you to an outside back porch or she could have taken you to a library.
Maybe she took you to her office or her living room or kitchen.
Noticing where she's brought you.
And as you sit down,
She offers you something to drink and something to eat.
Notice what she's offered you.
And as you sit down with your future self,
Take a look at her face.
Look deeply into her eyes.
She's looking at you with so much compassion and so much love.
She wants the absolute best for you.
You might notice any jewelry she's wearing.
The clothes that she wears.
You've picked up on the way she carries herself.
The way she walks through a room and the energy that she exudes just by being her.
How does she sit?
How does she hold her body?
How do you feel when you're in her presence?
How do other people feel about themselves when they're with her?
And as you're sitting with her,
Take a few moments now to ask her,
What do I need to know now to get to where you are from where I am?
What's the most important lesson that you'd like to share with me?
Maybe you have a specific question that you want to ask her.
Maybe there's something you're moving through that you'd love her perspective on and ask her,
How did you get through this?
Maybe you ask her,
What's the most important,
What are the most important things to you?
What rituals do you do every day?
What boundaries does she have in place to protect her energy?
How does she spend her time?
Taking a few more moments to ask her any other question that may have bubbled up for you.
She's so ready to listen.
Maybe offer a word of wisdom.
Just wrapping up any last question that you might want to ask her,
Knowing you can always come back for another visit.
Before you leave,
She tells you that she has a gift for you.
She hands it to you,
The big smile on her face.
You take a moment to open that gift.
Wow.
What has she given you?
What does she want you to have?
You thank her for the gift and you share another hug.
Now you prepare to leave her house.
She walks you to the door.
Take another look around the room in the house.
And then you say goodbye to her,
Giving her a hug.
She wishes you so much love and joy on your journey.
As you head out the door and back out into the world,
You see that light beam again.
And you hop into that light beam.
Maybe you step or maybe you leap.
And it carries you up,
Up,
Up into the sky.
You start to see your future selves,
How it's getting smaller and smaller until it's out of view.
Start to see the whole earth looking like a little ball of blue and green.
Then as you're way,
Way up,
You move back out into outer space and you see that original light beam again.
You take a deep breath,
Preparing to come back down to the present moment.
You jump on that light beam and you're carried down,
Down,
Down to the earth.
Start to see where you are now.
Your town,
The houses.
Any nature around your town,
Maybe trees or wildlife.
Until you see your current dwelling place landing back on earth.
You start to feel your sitting bones rooted in the earth.
Maybe you take your hands to your thighs,
Feeling that you've landed back here in this moment,
Touching the ground underneath you,
Touching your clothes.
Feeling that you're here in this moment with so much gratitude,
Putting both hands over your heart.
And take a nice deep breath in.
Exhale.
Then starting to blink your eyes open,
Take a hold of your pen and your paper and jot down your takeaways from this exercise.
Maybe noting the details of what your future self looked like,
Where they lived.
Noticing what you saw on the walls,
On the bookshelves,
In the kitchen.
Telling the messages that your future self shared with you.
Any words of wisdom,
Some details about her presence,
The way she carried herself.
Noting where you sat when you connected with her and what you drank together,
What you ate,
The present that she gave you,
How it felt when you looked into her eyes.
Noticing how old she was for this version of yourself that you visited.
Maybe the details around if you had any resistance to doing this practice.
Maybe noting what color the light beams were that you traveled up and down.
Any other takeaways from this exercise.
Just knowing that you can take as long as you'd like to journal on it and you can come back to it at any point if you want to visit this version of yourself again in the future.
Take a moment now to journal on what you can do today to step closer into that version of your future self.
What are some action steps that you can start to embody right now?
Maybe it's doing a ritual that she told you that she does every day.
Prioritizing a friendship or a connection that she told you is important to her.
Maybe it has to do with the way that she treated her body or the support that she invested in.
It could be a boundary that she set or maybe it's being bold and taking action in the direction of one of your dreams.
Just taking a moment to write down some ideas that you can get started on right away and commit to taking them.
And before we close this meditation,
I want you to take a moment to embody in your body how your future self carried herself.
So sitting the way that she was sitting.
Maybe moving your body a little bit with the confidence and the assurance,
The grace that she held herself with.
Then bringing your hands into your heart center once more.
Bow our hands together.
