Annelies coaches people in raising their meditation experience awareness through inquiry. This method helps people get a better view on preconscious thoughts, emotions and bodysensations during the meditation. She is active as a psychologist and psychotherapist since 2001 and as a mindfulnesstrainer and meditation-coach since 2013. As a result of her anthropological research on the structure and flow of learning environments in traditions, she developed online learning environments for meditation for clients and professionals in mental health care in Belgium. In 1995 she was first coached in her meditation practice in Thailand and continued her way in traditional Tibetan Buddhism. In 2015 she deepened her practice in a Sabbath year in monasteries and the mountains in Asia.
