This meditation will be with what the sky is,

What you see,

Any streaks of color you see.

Use this view of the sky object of meditation,

Which is normal.

Bring your mind back to the experience of seeing the sky,

Seeing.

Remember that the mind's job is to generate thoughts.

We're just creating conditions for the mind to slow,

But you cannot force those thoughts to stop or even really to slow down.

Simply notice them as they arise and then bring your mind back to your vision,

To what you're actually seeing.

This remembering,

This noticing that the mind has wandered is a very important part of meditation.

Continue to look at the sky.

Do you really see?

Are you thinking about the sky or actually seeing it?

Are you forming ideas about what you see?

Simply letting the light come into your eye.

Does what you see change or remain the same?

If your eyes grow tired to your seeing,

Do you see the sky?

Do you actually see?

Continue this practice for a few moments before returning to your day.

Thank you so much for taking the time to be present in the moment with me.
