Welcome to the Nervous System Reset.
This meditation goes deep.
We're working at the level of the subconscious,
That vast intelligent part of you that runs most of your experience without you even realizing it.
The patterns that feel automatic.
Reactions that feel beyond your control.
In the loops that seem impossible to break.
They are not impossible.
They're just rooted in your subconscious.
And the subconscious speaks through the body.
Through repetition.
And through feeling.
Which is exactly what we are doing today.
You'll begin to get settled.
And let your eyes close.
And give yourself permission to go somewhere most people never take themselves.
Begin with three long breaths.
And let the exhale be slow.
Full and complete.
Inhale one.
Exhale,
Empty completely.
Let there be a moment of stillness before the next breath.
Inhale 2.
And exhale even longer this time.
Let your body soften around the emptiness.
Inhale 3.
And exhale,
And feel something release as your nervous system is downshifting as you begin to relax deeper and deeper.
Now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
Your heart space.
This is where the deepest subconscious work happens.
Now in the thinking mode.
And in the feeling body.
In the center of you.
I want to gently ask you to bring to awareness a pattern.
That you are ready to release.
Not to analyze it or shame yourself about it.
Simply just to acknowledge it.
Maybe it's the pattern of bracing before something hard happens.
Maybe it's the pattern of anxiety without a clear source.
Maybe it's the way your body tightens when someone needs something more.
Or maybe it's simply the exhaustion of constantly having to be on alert.
Whatever it is.
Just let it be named.
And then,
Know this.
This pattern was learned.
Probably a really long time ago.
When it was the most intelligent response available to you.
Kept you safe.
And now,
You're ready for something different.
Repeat after me,
Out loud or in your head.
I release the pattern of constant vigilance.
I no longer need to be on guard to be safe.
My subconscious mind is open to a new way of being.
Safety is my new default.
Ease is not naive,
It is my healed state.
I am not who I was when this pattern formed.
I am who I am becoming.
Visualize your nervous system as a network of light.
Millions of threats.
Connecting every part of you.
And right now,
You can see certain threads that have been running the old pattern.
They're a little tighter,
A little more charged.
And as you breathe,
Watch those threads begin to soften.
Not snap,
Just relax.
Like a held muscle finally released.
And as they soften,
New threads form beside them.
Brighter,
Steadier.
These are your new pathways of regulation.
Safety.
Your subconscious is absorbing this.
Even if your thinking mind isn't sure that it's working.
Your body is learning.
Every time you practice this.
The new threads get a little stronger.
And the old ones get a little quieter.
Little less bright.
Take a full deep breath.
Let it fill your entire chest and belly.
And slowly release.
Feeling the ground beneath you.
Feeling your body.
Begin to make gentle movements with your fingers and toes.
Taking another long,
Slow,
Deep breath.
And start to bring your awareness back to the room.
Hear the sounds around you,
Feeling the temperature of the room.
And slowly open your eyes,
Taking a moment to come back.
Feeling a deeper sense of calm than when you first began.
Knowing your subconscious received a new signal.
And your nervous system has a new reference point.

The repetition is the medicine.
You are free to go about your day more relaxed,
More trusting,
And more regularly.
