Not just notice but also deeply feel an appreciation for the little or big things that make life rich.
It can be the sunlight on your face,
The beauty of your surrounding,
The smell you sense from your clean clothes,
The fitness class you just completed,
An interesting book you just read,
The comfort of your bed,
The smell of the air after raining in the countryside or even bigger ones such as the love in your life,
Or your good health or the health of the people you love or an opportunity you just had for advancing your career.
Say for example,
I am grateful for the sunlight on my face.
I am grateful for the beautiful sounds such as birds singing or the music that I hear.
I am grateful for my comfortable bed.
Go on and say the things that you are grateful for.
I am grateful for the nice clothes that I am wearing.
I am grateful for the place that I live.
I am grateful for the exercise I was just able to complete.
I am grateful for the interesting book that I just read.
I am grateful for the love in my life.
Think of anything that you can be grateful for.
Make sure that you are not just saying you are grateful,
But take the time to be grateful.
Feel grateful.
