Hello,
And welcome to this meditation.
Today,
We are going to be guided into a state of peace and bliss as we explore the concept of acceptance.
Acceptance is often regarded as the final stage of grief.
However,
We do not necessarily experience the stages of grief in order.
When we do experience and find acceptance,
We understand our reality.
We understand the reality that we are experiencing for what it is and what it will be.
To find acceptance is to know that change is the only constant in life.
In this meditation,
We are going to be using visualization,
Imagination,
And breathwork in order to anchor ourselves into a blissful and peaceful state of acceptance wherever we may need it.
I'd like you to take one deep inhale through your nose for me,
And then exhale through the mouth.
One more inhale through the nose,
And then exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose,
And then exhale through the mouth.
Having now opened this meditation through the breath,
I would just like you to make yourself comfortable for me.
I'd like you to sit on the floor,
On a chair,
Or lay down on your couch if you wish to do so.
I want you to release all tension in your body.
Allow your muscles to loosen,
Your arms to lay flat by your side,
And just feel the comfort begin to flow through your body.
Once you are feeling comfortable,
We shall begin.
I'd like you to visualize the most beautiful sunset that you have ever seen in your life.
You may revisit an actual sunset that you have experienced that brought you great peace and bliss,
Or we shall create one together using the power of our imagination.
Picturing this sunset,
I want you to think of every color that surrounds the sun as it begins to melt into the horizon.
See the beautiful burnt orange of the sun,
And the pinks and reds and blues and ambers that hold it as it melts into the sky.
Feel the warmth as the day that you have just experienced begins to find rest,
Just like you are doing so in this very moment.
I want you to feel those last flickers of radiance coming from the sun as it prepares to go to sleep,
And see that amber,
Red and gold reflected onto your skin.
Inhale through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
I want you to feel the peace and bliss and stillness that comes from taking the time to watch the sunset.
Sunsets are a reminder that even endings can be beautiful.
I know that we have all had days that are so beautiful,
So perfect,
That we never want them to end.
I know that we have had days that are so beautiful and glorious that we wish that we could relive them again and again and again.
But a sunset is a reminder to honor the beauty in the day that we have experienced,
And to say farewell and thank you to it with gratitude.
As we sit here and gaze out at this sunset,
We know that we are saying farewell to this day,
And gratefully receive its gifts.
We wish it adieu,
As the sky transforms and changes,
Just as people,
Situations and our lives do so too.
I want you to see and honor the transformation that the sun is making in this very moment,
As it lays its head down in the clouds,
As the reds and ambers and oranges become blues and pinks as it reaches twilight.
Inhale through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
And I just want you to bring your attention to your heart.
You may place a hand upon your heart if you wish to do so.
And with great love in your heart,
I just want you to thank the sun for keeping you warm,
For bringing you light,
For shining.
And like the final flickers of a candle,
Honor and respect its end,
And know that every day is special,
And that with the end of one day must come the beginning of another.
We are accepting that this day is finished.
We are accepting that this day is finished and coming to its natural close,
And feeling this love in your heart.
I want you to see the first stars beginning to appear in the sky.
I want you to know that as one light fades,
Another must follow.
Keeping your hand on your heart,
I want you to feel the love that is radiating from it.
I want you to know that the beautiful rays of the sun that you have experienced today live on in your heart.
With an inhale through the nose,
I want you to wash golden light around your body,
Up your arms,
Around your chest,
And down to your toes.
And then exhale through the mouth.
Breathe out those final remnants of the day.
Honor those final memories of the day.
And thinking of that beautiful sunset,
Now the most fondest memory that you will keep to your final days.
Feeling that power in your heart,
I just want you to say,
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
And thank you for giving me so much light,
So much warmth,
And so much love.
And with every ounce of love and acceptance,
I just want you to lower your hand from your heart back to your side.
And sitting on the floor in a chair or laying on a couch,
I just want you to bring your shoulders back,
Raise your chin,
And now know that being in a blissful state of acceptance,
You are now open for any new day that comes.
We shall now do one final inhale through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
And having now watched the most beautiful sunset together,
And being in a blissful state of acceptance,
That our day has closed and night time shall follow,
But no doubt a new day shall arise.
I just want you to slowly open your eyes,
And bring your awareness back into the room.
With every acceptance and love in your heart,
I want you to just slowly observe your reality,
And know that you are ready to be anchored into the present moment,
And accept what has been,
And what now can be.
