Since The Beginning | Between Sky & Earth

There are some forms of belonging that seem to exist before we have words for them. Since the Beginning is a song to the earth, and to the ancient relationship between our bodies and the ground beneath us. A relationship learned not through explanation, but through living: walking, resting, leaving, returning. The earth becomes a presence within the song. Something that has held us without asking anything in return, received what we have laid down, and kept safe what we thought we had lost. Beneath soil and stone is the idea of remembering. That perhaps our connection to the natural world is not something new we need to create, but something very old that still lives within us. Something we have known since the beginning.
