Sometimes the darkness does not lift all at once. Beneath the Boats moves through a place of deep stillness, where the way forward cannot yet be seen and even the smallest movement can feel almost impossible. Nothing arrives to rescue the moment. The sky does not open. The moon does not return. Instead, something much smaller begins to stir from within: a breath, a loosening, the quiet recognition that some part of us is still here. The darkness may remain, but our relationship with it can begin to change. A piece about finding the smallest space within ourselves when everything feels heavy, and remembering that even there, we may still be held by something deeper than the fear of being lost.
