Marshall Vian Summers takes you to a place deep inside yourself where a higher intelligence can be found. Here you can experience "The Presence." This recording is specifically designed for the spoken part to be short and quickly bring you to the point. There is exactly 30 minutes of stillness time in this meditation recording. Without the ending bell you could bask in the energy for as long as you like; but there were so many requests for an ending bell, so we accommodated you. Many of you asked for a longer version, so we're happy to present this recording to you. Let's begin by surrounding and protecting ourselves with the love and the grace of God.

To surround ourselves with the presence so that we may open our minds without taking anything in from the mental environment.

Being a cocoon around yourself,

A protective shield,

So that your mind may open while you keep the world at bay.

In your own way,

Surround and protect yourself.

Good.

Take a moment and put your attention on a point just a few inches in from your solar plexus.

Focus on this point just a few inches in from your solar plexus.

Just breathe deeply as you give this your attention.

This will help you to break away from the surface world into your inner landscape.

Down inside of you there is a deeper well of intelligence,

Greater intelligence that is unlike the mind that you think with.

And this point of reference just in from our solar plexus is a place,

A point where we can experience this mind,

This greater intelligence that lives within us.

It is from this point that we can listen,

Feel,

And experience things at a deeper level.

Just breathe easily and give this point your attention.

Leaving aside other thoughts and problems,

Concerns.

Imagine for a moment this point is the edge of a deep well.

This well is so deep you can't see the bottom.

It's just dark.

Into this well you can listen and you can ask for counsel.

You must be patient for the well only reveals what you're ready to act upon.

Cannot induce it to give you answers that you're not ready for.

At the edge of this deep well you can ask,

Is there anything that I'm ready to know that I need to know?

Is there anything that I'm ready to know that I need to know?

Take a moment now and ask this question and then just listen.

If something comes to you let it come.

If there's no response that is fine,

Just keep listening.

Is there something I'm ready to know that I need to know?

This well is so deep.

It's just dark.

It's just dark.

Into this deep well you can listen and you can ask for counsel.

Takes you deeper. This meditation is very well suited to those who can tolerate the stillness and silence required for applied inner listening practice. Minimal guidance for a deeply personal and intimate experience. Highly recommended!

There is only a few minutes of guided meditation in the beginning and the rest is silence. I found it helpful in setting up the tone of the meditation. I recommend this one as long as you know that there will not be a lot of speaking..🌞
