Begin by finding a position that feels supportive for your body.
You might be sitting,
Lying down.
Perhaps resting somewhere in between.
There's no particular position you need to find.
Just somewhere you can be.
The next few minutes.
And when you're ready,
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Or simply soften your gaze.
Before we do anything.
Notice what's supporting you.
The chair beneath you.
The floor.
The bed.
The earth.
Whatever is here.
Maybe notice the places where your body makes contact with that support.
Notice your feet.
Your legs.
Your hips Your back.
Your shoulders your hands.
And without changing your breathing.
Just notice your breathing.
Maybe your breath is deep.
Maybe it's shallow.
Maybe smooth.
Maybe an even.
There's nothing to correct.
Just this breath.
In this body.
In this moment.
I wonder if you can notice.
How often we move through life.
Trying to make ourselves a little bit better.
Trying to respond better.
Feel better.
Look better.
Handle things better.
Trying to be more productive.
More confident.
More organized.
More healed.
Maybe there is some part of you.
You've been working.
Really hard on them.
Something you've been trying to change improve.
The image.
Or even hide.
Or six.
You don't need to search for anything.
If something comes,
Let it come.
And if nothing does,
That's okay too.
And rather than thinking about this part of yourself.
See if you can simply notice your body.
What happens inside you.
When you remember this part of yourself.
Maybe there's an emotion.
Or maybe you don't notice much of anything.
There's no response you're supposed to have.
We're just listening.
And now,
Without needing to believe it.
.
.
Without needing to agree with it.
I'm gonna offer you a possibility.
What if for these next few minutes.
.
.
There were nothing about you that needed fixing.
Just notice.
Notice what happens in your body when you hear that.
Maybe something softens.
Maybe something resists?
Maybe some part of you immediately starts making a list.
That's welcome too.
You don't have to force yourself into acceptance.
You don't even have to love every part of yourself.
Or simply getting curious.
What would happen if you stopped working on yourself?
Just for right now.
If you let yourself be unfinished.
Still learning.
Still changing still becoming.
And completely human.
Maybe place a hand somewhere on your body that feels comforting.
Your heart,
Your belly.
Your chest,
Your arms.
Simply let your hands rest wherever they are.
And notice what happens as you hear.
You are allowed to still be learning.
You are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to get something more.
You are allowed to need another try.
You are allowed to not have everything figured out.
You are allowed to be unfinished.
And maybe.
.
.
You are allowed to be exactly who you are.
In this moment.
Take a moment now.
And notice yourself.
Your breath.
Your body.
Maybe something has changed.
Maybe nothing has changed.
Both are welcome.
And before we finish.
.
.
Perhaps there's one thing you can give yourself permission for today.
Not forever.
Just today.
Just take one more moment,
Just as you are.
Just you.
Here.
Yeah.
And for this moment,
That's enough.
When you're ready begin to notice the room around you again.
The sounds.
The white.
Space.
And slowly in your own time.
Allow your eyes to open.
Thank you for doing this meditation with me.
Take good care of yourself.
