Hello,
I'm Natalie Barney.
This meditation is the last of three.
In the first meditation,
We explored the path of the lone wolf.
The ways many of us learn to survive through separation.
In the second meditation,
We answered the call of the pack.
We opened ourselves to connection,
To shared direction,
To the experience of walking beside others while remaining fully ourselves.
In this last meditation,
We learn that not every path is yours to follow and not every pack is yours to join.
Because true connection is not about disappearing into a group.
It is not about abandoning your instincts.
Nor silencing your truth in order to belong.
There are spaces that expand us and spaces that diminish us.
There are connections that nourish our growth and connections that ask us to betray ourselves.
This meditation is about learning to feel the difference.
Because you are no longer waiting to be chosen.
You are here to choose.
Take a slow breath in and a longer breath out.
Again,
Breathing deeply through the nose and breathe out slowly through the mouth.
One more time.
Breathing in and letting the breath go gently.
Feel the weight of your body.
The space around you.
And now return to the ancient and dense forest.
Feel how alive it is.
This forest no longer feels unfamiliar.
You know this place now.
You know its rhythms,
Its sounds,
Its instincts.
And somewhere ahead,
You sense the presence of the pack once more.
But this time,
Something is different.
You are no longer simply answering the call.
You are now listening to the call.
More deeply.
Listening to your body.
Your intuition.
Your truth.
Through the trees,
You begin to see the pack more clearly.
You watch the way they move together.
The way they communicate.
The way they respond to one another.
You sense the energy between them.
Some packs move through fear.
Some through control.
Some through performance.
And others move with steadiness,
Respect,
And trust.
There is space within them for individuality,
For truth,
For difference.
And as you stand before the pack,
You begin to understand.
Your body has been reading these signals all along.
Does this pack ask you to become more fully yourself?
Is it asking you to become smaller?
Does it encourage your truth?
Is it only welcoming the parts of you that fit comfortably within the group?
Your body already knows the difference.
Feel what happens within you.
As you face this pack,
Do you feel heavy,
Tight,
Contracted?
Does your body become guarded,
Careful,
Less open?
Or does this pack hold space for you there?
Does your breath deepen?
Is your energy expanding?
Do you feel more like yourself?
Stay with that feeling.
Because discernment is not fear.
It is self-trust.
And choosing consciously allows you to build connections that honor who you truly are.
I'm going to leave you here for a few moments now.
Stay where you are.
Feel the energy of a pack before you.
Allow yourself to fully experience what your body already knows.
And slowly,
Begin to notice what feels clearer now.
What your body already understands.
What feels aligned and what does not.
Stay connected to that knowing.
Because it will continue to guide you long after this meditation ends.
Take a few moments now to let the following affirmations settle deeply within you.
Allow them to strengthen your trust in your own knowing.
I will say each affirmation three times.
And you can repeat them silently or out loud.
If possible.
I trust my body to guide me toward what is right for me.
I trust my body to guide me toward what is right for me.
I trust my body to guide me toward what is right for me.
I choose connections that honor my truth.
I choose connections that honor my truth.
I choose connections that honor my truth.
I allow myself to belong without abandoning myself.
I allow myself to belong without abandoning myself.
I allow myself to belong without abandoning myself.
I trust myself to recognize what strengthens my spirit.
I trust myself to recognize what strengthens my spirit.
I trust myself to recognize what strengthens my spirit.
I trust myself to recognize what strengthens my spirit.
I choose spaces where my voice is welcomed and respected.
I choose spaces where my voice is welcomed and respected.
I choose spaces where my voice is welcomed and respected.
I choose spaces where my voice is welcomed and respected.
I no longer shrink myself in order to stay connected.
I no longer shrink myself in order to stay connected.
I no longer shrink myself in order to stay connected.
I allow myself to walk away from what and who no longer feels aligned.
I allow myself to walk away from what and who no longer feels aligned.
I allow myself to walk away from what and who no longer feels aligned.
I trust the signals my body gives me.
I trust the signals my body gives me.
I trust the signals my body gives me.
I trust the signals my body gives me.
I choose relationships that allow me to grow fully as myself.
I choose relationships that allow me to grow fully as myself.
I choose relationships that allow me to grow fully as myself.
I choose relationships that allow me to grow fully as myself.
I am no longer waiting to be chosen.
I am no longer waiting to be chosen.
I am no longer waiting to be chosen.
I am no longer waiting to be chosen.
I choose consciously.
I choose consciously.
I choose consciously.
Take a slow breath in.
And release it gently.
And release it gently.
Feel the forest around you once more.
See yourself within the pack.
Feel the steadiness of standing beside those who honour your truth.
The feeling of belonging without abandoning yourself.
The feeling of being seen while remaining fully who you are.
Stay with that feeling for a moment longer.
Remember,
The right connections do not pull you away from yourself.
The right connections do not pull you away from yourself.
They bring you closer to who you truly are.
For now,
Begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Your body.
The space around you.
And gently open your eyes.
Thank you for allowing yourself to listen deeply and for trusting what you already know.
You no longer need to search for where you belong.
You know how to recognise the spaces,
People and communities that honour who you are.
Carry that certainty with you.
