This meditation is the second of three.
In the first meditation,
We explored the experience of a lone wolf.
The way many of us learn to move through life alone.
Carrying everything ourselves,
Handling everything ourselves.
Trusting ourselves above all else.
And then,
Something begins to shift.
We no longer only sense the presence of others.
We begin to answer their call.
Because there are parts of us that come more fully alive in aligned connection.
Our energy expands.
Our direction strengthens.
Our gifts deepen through being witnessed,
Supported and shared.
And true connection does not silence individuality.
It strengthens it.
Take a slow breath in.
And a longer breath out.
Again,
Breathing deeply through the nose.
And breathe out slowly through the mouth.
One more time.
Breathing in.
And letting the breath go gently.
Feel the weight of your body.
The steadiness beneath you.
The space around you.
Now,
Return to the ancient,
Dense and alive forest.
This forest feels familiar now.
You have found your way.
You've moved through it before.
And as you move through the trees,
You hear it.
A call in the distance.
Then another.
The sound moves through the forest.
And through you.
Something within you responds.
Like remembering something ancient.
You pause.
You listen.
And for the first time,
Instead of continuing to move alone,
You allow yourself to follow the sound.
I'm going to leave you here for a few moments now.
Just allow yourself to experience whatever begins to unfold.
Slowly,
You become aware of movement around you.
Not just one presence.
Many.
A pack moving through the forest together.
Some walk beside you.
Others slightly ahead.
Others behind.
And yet,
Each one moves in their own way.
Each presence carries something different.
Different gifts.
Different instincts.
Different ways of seeing and sensing the world.
There is deep connection between them.
A shared rhythm.
A shared understanding.
You feel it moving through you.
Moving through the forest.
And through your body.
Something begins to soften.
You feel yourself opening to the presence of others.
Stay with that feeling.
What happens when connection allows more of you to exist,
Not less?
What happens when your voice,
Your instincts,
Your individuality,
Are welcomed within the group instead of silenced?
Take time to feel into that now.
There are forms of connection that allow us to grow stronger together.
Connections that nourish us.
Expand us.
Strengthen what is within us.
What is already true within us.
Heart to heart.
Soul to soul.
A remembering that we were never truly meant to walk through life entirely alone.
And yet,
You can remain yourself.
Perhaps even more fully than before.
I'm going to leave you here for a few moments now.
Just stay with whatever is unfolding within you.
Feel what it is like to move beside others.
While remaining deeply connected to yourself.
Notice what begins to expand.
What begins to breathe more freely.
And allow yourself to experience the energy of moving as part of something larger.
Without losing who you are.
We're going to anchor this experience through a few affirmations now.
Let these affirmations become part of the rewiring.
From doing everything alone.
To allowing yourself to move with others.
I'll say each affirmation three times.
And you can repeat it silently or out loud if possible.
Let the words settle into your body in your own way.
