
The power within you meditation
In this meditation, we will connect to the power within you. The same power that connects us to the energy of every living being, in every cell in our body! This universal energy that is found out in nature, and all the out to the furthest star in the universe. This meditation will help you connect back to your truth.

So you'll discover the power within you meditation.
So I'd like you to close your eyes and just take a moment to breathe.
Just breathing in this space.
So in this meditation I'm going to ask you to just breathe in and out through the nose.
Just inhale and exhale through your nose.
Just take this time to relax.
Start to arrive here now as you inhale and exhale.
In today's meditation we're going to discover this power within.
So I just want you to take a moment to think about this concept of intelligence.
Some spirit or energetic intelligence is in every cell of your body and that same intelligence is in every animal on the planet,
Every tree,
Every person on the planet.
And that same energy,
That same intelligence is out in every star in the planet's universe.
So just take a moment to really allow that to sink in.
Just feel that for a moment.
Feel that aliveness for a moment.
Life.
What we're going to do is we're going to tap into that a little bit more.
So let's just first start to relax the body.
Let's take a moment to relax the top of the head.
Relaxing the hairs on your head.
Relaxing the back of the neck.
Just softening and loosening all the muscles in the neck.
Going down to your shoulders.
Your shoulder blades.
Just relaxing the shoulders.
Just letting go of any tension.
You haven't got to do anything.
You haven't got to be anywhere.
Just let go of the tension and relax.
Just breathing in and out.
Now just starting to relax your arms.
Just allowing your arms to hang down the body.
Relaxing your elbows,
Your wrists,
Your fingers.
Maybe your hands are just resting gently in the lap or on your knees.
Just take a moment to relax the arms,
The muscles in the arms,
The elbows,
The wrists,
Even the fingers.
Just inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
Just relax and surrender.
Just let go.
Taking a moment to bring the energy and the awareness back up your arms.
Up to your shoulders.
Take this awareness gently down the spine.
Just scanning the spine from the top to the bottom.
To the tailbone.
To the hips.
Just relaxing your back muscles.
Relaxing the joints.
Just relaxing your back as you breathe.
Taking your focus and your awareness to your sit bones.
Just feel yourself sitting on the chair,
The yoga mat or the bed.
Wherever you're sitting on.
Just sink deeper and deeper into this relaxation.
Deeper and deeper into the earth.
Just breathe and just relax.
Just taking your focus and your awareness down the lower half of your body.
So going down your thighs,
To your knees,
Down to your shins and your feet.
Taking a moment to relax your toes,
Your ankles and your legs.
Just inhale through the nose and exhale.
Just relaxing your legs.
Sinking deeper and deeper into the ground,
Into the earth.
You just surrender and let go.
Just imagine relaxing every muscle in the body.
If your mind is wandering,
Because it's probably thinking about something.
It's okay to think.
Simply be aware of the wandering mind.
You come back to the breath.
You come back to the body sitting in this moment now.
Mind wanders.
It leaves the moment.
Goes into the past.
It goes into the future.
And this is where our suffering comes from.
And we're not in the moment.
We're living in the past full of regret and guilt.
Worrying about the future.
Anxious.
Fearful.
When you live in the moment now,
Now you're free.
There's no worries,
No guilt.
There's no stress.
Just let go for a moment and breathe.
Feel your body connected to wherever you're sitting on.
The floor,
The chair.
Just breathing in and out.
You train yourself to be here now.
It's very simple when the mind wanders.
You catch it gently.
Just like you're trying to catch a butterfly in a butterfly net.
Very softly.
Your mind is like a butterfly.
It's flying around.
You just very,
Very,
Very softly catch that butterfly.
So when you think,
Because you will,
And you have a conversation or a story,
Just very softly and very gently with love,
You just see that happening.
You remind yourself of that.
I'm meditating.
You just let go of that story.
Just let go of that butterfly.
You come back to the now.
Just breathing nice and naturally.
Just inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Be here now.
And again,
If the mind is wandering,
Just focus on the belly.
Focus on the breath.
Just inhale and exhale.
Just notice that rising and falling of the breath.
No judgment,
Not trying to change the breath.
Just breathing naturally.
Just becoming aware of the nature of your mind.
It's not you.
It just comes and it goes.
Just surrender.
Sink deeper into this moment.
Just bring your focus and your awareness to the soles of your feet.
If your feet are on the floor,
Feel the floor.
If you're wearing shoes and socks,
Feel the fabric.
Just bringing your awareness to the bottom of the body.
If your legs are crossed,
It's okay.
Just bring your awareness to the sit bones.
Sitting on the floor.
I'd like you to imagine that you can feel the intensity of the earth.
You can feel the intelligence from the earth and the energy from planet earth.
Imagine that intelligence is vibrating.
You can feel it.
You're connected to it.
Feel that power connecting to your feet,
Connecting to your sit bones.
You simply breathe,
Connecting to the power of earth.
It's a living organism giving life to so many species.
Take a moment to connect to that,
To our planet home.
The energy is vibrating and vibrating into your body.
Just inhale and exhale.
Just feel that.
Maybe get some sense of gratitude for that energy,
For earth,
For home,
For mother earth.
Deep sense of gratitude for the power from the earth into your body.
What a blessing to be on this planet right now.
What a gift.
Just remember and feel this energy.
I want you to bring that energy up from your feet,
Traveling through the legs,
Into your knees,
Your thighs,
Your hips.
Feel and draw that energy into your belly.
You just take your focus and your awareness into your solar plexus,
Your stomach.
I want you to visualize or imagine this power now inside of your belly.
Just draw a nice deep breath into the bottom of your stomach.
Just inhale and exhale.
You just feel this tingling,
This energy,
This excitement maybe in the belly.
I want you to take a moment now to bring the energy up from the belly into your chest,
Energy now into your heart space.
Just feel your heart beating in this moment.
Just feel that power and that energy and the light inside your heart.
You simply remember and just breathe.
It's welcoming that peace and that love.
Simply welcoming that peace and that love that's inside of your heart.
This is the power.
This is the energy inside.
You can welcome God.
You can welcome the universe.
You can welcome the spirit.
Just get into that consciousness.
Inhale and exhale into the heart,
Into the heart space.
You just simply breathe into that goodness.
You don't have to do anything.
It's just like a phone being plugged in,
Plugged into the socket.
You are charging yourself up with this inflow of energy,
Which is channeling consciousness,
Pure,
Pure spirit.
Inhale and exhale.
Just open your heart,
Just remembering to stay in your heart.
Your mind still might be wandering and it's okay.
Just bring it back with the breath into the heart space just for a few minutes,
A few minutes.
Really feeling that love,
Feeling the peace,
Feeling that goodness in your heart,
Feeling this power,
This intelligence inside the trillions of cells,
All those little cells in your heart.
That heart is pumping blood around your body to keep you alive.
There's an intelligence,
A power.
Welcome that consciousness,
God,
That spirit into the heart.
As you inhale and exhale,
Just sink deeper and deeper into your essence.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to be.
Just sinking into it and remember what I'd like you to do.
As you inhale,
Focus on the breathing.
I want you to breathe in the light.
So inhale the light.
As you exhale,
Let go of the light.
Breathe out the light through your nose.
Inhaling the light,
Exhaling the light.
As you inhale,
Say to yourself silently,
Light.
Breathe light into your heart.
As you exhale,
Share that light.
Inhale the light,
Exhale the light.
Imagine you're breathing in light,
Letting go of light.
What you're going to do as you're breathing in and breathing out,
You're going to silently repeat some mantras in your mind.
So as you inhale,
You simply say to yourself,
I am love.
Silently in your mind,
Inhale.
I am love.
Exhale,
Let it go.
Inhale.
I am light.
Say this in your mind and exhale,
Let it go.
Inhale.
I am peace.
Exhale,
Let it go.
You just repeat these mantras over and over again.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
Keep saying these mantras.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
Just breathing in and out.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
Just keep saying this silently in your mind.
Just come back to these mantras.
I am love.
I am light.
I am peace.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
Saying these over and over.
As you get yourself into a trance,
Keep saying it over and over.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am light.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am light.

I am peace.
Take a moment now just to let go of these mantras and just sink into that space,
Into the depth of your heart,
Into the intelligence,
Into the love.
Just allow those mantras to do the work.
Just take a moment to meditate and let go.
Let go of everything.
Amazing.
Just take a moment now to bring your awareness back to this space.
Just pay attention to my voice.
Feel the body.
Feel your arms,
Your legs,
Your fingers,
Your toes,
Your spine,
Your neck,
Your head.
Listen to the sounds that you can hear.
Bring yourself back into this space.
You're ready.
Just slowly,
Slowly,
Gently open up your eyes.
Namaste.
Just remember this power that you have inside.
