In this meditation, you will be guided through a metta (loving-kindness) practice. Metta meditation is a practice of compassion. We start by saying four simple phrases to ourselves. This may seem easy, but resistance can very well arise. After some time we direct the phrases to someone we hold dear to our heart, then someone we feel neutral toward, and then someone we have difficulty with.
