Doggie Paddle At The Pool - Bedtime Story

We're going swimming today.

Jump in.

The water is perfect.

Your swimming is so pretty.

It reminds me of a butterfly.

Funny you say that.

One of my butterfly friends taught me this stroke in swim called the butterfly.

I want to try.

That stroke is more of a frog,

I think.

I'm a frog.

Watch.

Who will win in a race between a butterfly and a frog?

Definitely the frog.

Hey,

You're using your wings.

Frogs don't have wings.

Did you use some of Roger Robot's waterproofing on your wings,

That was a huge splash.

You need to put that waterproofing to good use.

The geometry of the hive dive is way off,

It looks like the pool floor is moving.

It's opening up to allow for more clearance after the dive.

I had the beavers down at the hardware store tunnel this pool to the Honey River.

The Honey River connects to the ocean.

So that means we have the ocean in our backyard now.

That's exactly what it means,

My dear.

You always say your favorite place is at the beach.

There's no need for a diving board to be that high up in the sky.

What if an airplane runs into us?

I still know some people down in air traffic control.

I'll alert them.

That roving wheel really helped in the cave that one time,

The one where I turn myself into a raft and enjoy a nice,

Peaceful float down to the water,

Where I once again float.

I should have seen that coming.

Story Time!
The wild wild dog.
Trouble, was the most mistivios dog in the pack. He was white with brown patches. Trouble was still a little pup, and didn't know anything but to bite everything. The other dogs got annoyed at Trouble and just growled at him. Trouble didn't care a bit! He just yapped and ran into the forest to play. One night, he was chewing a stick and fell to sleep. The next morning, when he woke up, he opened his eyes, looked down at where his stick was supposed to be. But, it was nowhere to be seen! He barked as loud as he dared " My stick!" The oldest dog, Brownie, lifted his head and wined " Ohh it's just a twig." " Just a twig!" Cried Trouble, as he sniffed around the other dogs. It was nowhere. He searched everywhere. Brownie was a dark brown with flour like spots on his back. Brownie said " It's training day anyway. Everybody up!" The dogs in the pack all lifted their heads and got to work. Trouble was just walking along minding his own bisnuss. Until, bang! Troubles annoying little sister had jumped onto his back and yapped " Let's play!" Trouble grumbled " Not today, Missy. I don't feel to good." Missy hopped of with a whimper of sadness in her heart. Trouble cept on walking until he reached the forest. Missy hopped over and said " Wher are you heading of to now, Trouble?" Trouble turned around in shock then said as calm as he could " I'm going to look for herbs to eat. That's the only thing I know how to hunt at the moment. Now, go away. Your so annoying." Missy sadly walked away. Trouble checked to make sure Missy was gone, then snuck into the forest. He ate some herbs, then whent deeper into the forest. He heard a familiar voice saying his name. " Trouble! Trouble!" It called. Until the mystery voice came into veiw. Troubles tail started to wag in a menus. Then he yapped " Clove!" Clove was a big grey wolf, who was Troubles best friend. Clove was Troubles biggest secret. She was Troubles secret because dogs from Troubles pack, weren't aloud to communicate with any living thing that wasn't apart of the pack( Enything except for the Great Willow Tree and The Big Oak.) They played under the Great Willow Tree because they knew that it would keep their secret. The Great Willow Tree was a good witch. The Big Oak was a bad wizard. He didn't do any magic of good whearas rhe Great Willow Tree didn't do any magic of bad. Every full moon, the packs that did good would gather around the Great Willow Tree to show respect of the good goddess of the sun and every full moon, the packs that did bad would gather around The Big Oak to show respect of the goddess of the moon. The goddess of the moon did evil things in the past and did not go on to live his life in the war of the goddesses. The goddess of the sun did good things in the past and survived the great war of the goddesses. The goddesses are enchanted dogs who is a king and a queen. The king and the queen fought and then submitted that their would be a war and that it would start that night at midnight. The king was a wolf and the queen was a dog. The king did things for bad and the queen did things for good. Of course the queen did win with her good magic, but this holiday is selibratd to the day of the war. The wolf's wher evil and the dogs were good. They chose trees as the enchanted item because when the war had finished they where the only thing standing. The queen chose the Great Willow Tree to be her enchanted item because it was more pretty and not damaged. She left the old Big Oak to rott for the king. The trees stood side by side in the moonlight growing big and strong. Now the trees are unbreakable. The only thing that can damage the trees is the kings evil powers. That night, The wolf's and the dogs slept under the tree in peace. The trees had distance from each other so they couldn't wreck the glow. The Great Willow Tree had a beautiful pale yellow glow around it and the Big Oak had an ugly pale black glow around it. When he woke up, he was feeling il. He got up, walked to his favorite spot to play, tripped over a stone and fell in a heap! He said grumpily " Great! Now my day is even worse!" He got up and stomped to a rock to sleep. He was fast asleep. When Trouble woke up, he felt worse. He gagged. Then he vomited Al, over the rock.
