Good morning my fellow morning people.
I am grateful you decided to join me and your fellow morning people on this amazing gift of a day.
I am the morning person and just think of this show as the perfect prescription of what everyone should do before their feet hit the floor.
Our mantra today is going to be gratitude.
Gratitude is a quality or characteristic of being thankful,
A readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
We could all benefit from more gratitude towards ourselves and towards others.
So today we are going to do things a little different.
After we get started with our meditation,
I want you to visualize and imagine a large table with everyone you have ever met sitting at it.
Then slowly go around the table and think why you are grateful for having met each person.
So go ahead and get comfortable.
Lie down or get in any spot or position that works for you.
To get started,
Let's close our eyes and take a few slow deep breaths and settle in.
We'll breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Make sure you exhale slowly and push all the air out to get the fresh air back in.
Let's begin.
Ready?
In and exhale.
Breathe in again.
And exhale slowly pushing all the air out.
And we'll take another deep breath in.
And when you exhale this time,
Just return to your normal breathing.
And we're going to begin by saying our mantra seven times out loud and then whisper seven times and then continue to repeat it to yourself.
Ready?
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Now continue to repeat gratitude to yourself until you hear the final gong.
And remember,
As you go into your meditation,
Visualize a large table with everyone you've ever met at that table and think of why you're grateful to have met that person.
And remember,
If your thoughts drift,
It's okay.
Just go back to the mantra,
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
