If something has awakened you,

You can go back to sleep.

Take a deep breath and release it.

Was there a sound or other disturbance that woke you?

Can you feel an unsettled or agitated feeling from it in your body,

Your chest or stomach?

Wherever you feel unsettled,

We will now release and relax so that you can slip back into slumber.

Take another deep breath and now we will release any unsettled energy to allow you to return to a relaxed place where you can drift back to sleep.

Allow the energy to come into the area of your body where you have experienced any unsettled feeling and let it begin to dissipate as the energy there dissipates and decreases.

Allow the energy to flow down past your stomach,

Continuing down through your legs.

Take another deep breath and release it.

Slip back into slumber,

Back into the deep,

Soft,

Velvety blankets of slumber,

Comforting and welcoming you.

Allow flowing energy to continue.

The energy is transformed.

Feel the restored comfort of slumber.

You deserve sleep and tranquility.

The music of this meditation will continue.
