Connecting with the body as it settles into a nice comfortable shape.
All of your portions sinking down to the ground and relaxing.
And then bring our attention to our breath.
We're going to take some intentional breaths just to initiate that relaxation response.
So whenever you're ready,
Taking a nice deep inhale in through the nose.
Feeling new energy,
New life,
New vitality entering your body.
And a nice slow prolonged out breath.
Out through your nose and mouth in whichever way comes natural.
Doing that a few more times.
Taking a nice deep inhale in through the nose.
Filling up the body,
Filling up the belly.
And feel the out breath letting go and grounding you.
Sinking you downwards.
Again at your own pace,
Taking that nice deep inhale in.
New energy,
New life.
And the out breath grounding,
Letting go and connecting you.
Do a couple of more rounds on your own.
Taking one last breath together.
Inhale.
Exhale.
And on the exhale,
Just feeling a new sense of life.
Even from that short little meditation.
And when you're ready,
Gently open the eyes.
Feeling more focused and alert and aware.
