Hello and welcome to mindful minutes.
Take a moment to get comfortable and when you're ready,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
We're going to do a short four minute meditation exercise today.
Bring your attention gently to your breathing.
Notice if your breathing is fast,
If it is deep,
Or if it is shallow.
Take a moment to notice the small gaps between your inhale and your exhale.
It is possible that your attention will wander and that is perfectly okay.
Every time your attention wanders,
Just gently bring it back to your breathing.
It may wander five times,
Ten times,
Or a hundred times.
But each time,
Gently bring your attention back.
Notice if you can any tenseness in your neck,
In your shoulders.
Are you having any difficulty breathing or is it coming very naturally?
Let's go ahead and take a deep breath.
Take a big inhale,
Hold it for just a moment,
And exhale.
As we close this meditation exercise,
Take a moment to give thanks for taking this moment for yourself.
