Welcome,

Sweet soul,

To Mindful Mini Meditation,

Designed to help minis cultivate mindfulness and emotional well-being.

In this session,

We will be practicing a mindful meditation called Superhero Breath.

We will use our breath to tap into our inner superhero,

Feeling strong and powerful.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position.

You can sit with your legs crossed,

Your hands resting onto your lap,

Getting as tall as you can,

All the way to the crown of your head,

Getting a little bit more taller.

Good.

Now close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

Open your mouth and let the breath out.

Take another deep breath in.

One more bit of air,

And slowly let it go.

Do this two more times.

Good.

Inhale,

Breathing in,

Filling up a little bit more.

Exhale,

Letting it go.

Last one.

Breathe in.

Good.

Exhale,

Releasing out.

Now with that breath,

Imagine each time you draw more air in,

You're filling your body up with strength and power.

Picture a bright light glowing inside of you,

Growing brighter and brighter with each breath you take.

Feel that strength and power radiating throughout your body.

What color did you choose?

Red,

Yellow,

Green,

Maybe pink.

But each time you take a breath,

This color is getting brighter.

Your body's building more strength and more power.

Now begin to imagine you're wearing a superhero cape.

Feel it flowing behind you in your imagination.

This superhero cape is helping you to feel confident and brave.

With each inhale,

Feel that you're getting stronger and more brave.

With each exhale,

Releasing out any worries or doubts.

Continue to breathe in.

Continue to breathe out.

Now take a deep breath in.

And imagine that you're breathing in our favorite superhero power.

This superhero power can be strength or speed or anything else that makes you feel like a superhero.

As you exhale,

Imagine that you're releasing any negative thoughts or feelings.

And as you inhale,

Inhaling in your superhero power from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

But continue to breathe deeply,

Feeling the power inside of you.

Whenever you need to feel strong,

You can come back to the superhero breath and feel your superhero.

Take one more deep breath in.

And as you slowly let go,

Releasing.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

And remember that you have the power to be a superhero every day.
