Hello,

Sweet friend.

It's time to slow down.

Give your body a little rest.

Sometimes our bodies feel wiggly.

Sometimes our thoughts feel busy.

But right now,

We are going to help everything get very calm.

Find a cozy place to sit or lie down.

Let your body begin to settle.

When you feel ready,

Let your eyes gently close or keep them softly looking down.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

And let it fall out through your mouth.

Again,

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

Good.

Now,

Let's help your body get very still.

See if you can make your feet quiet.

Very,

Very still.

Now your legs.

Let them rest.

Let your belly soften.

Let your shoulders melt down.

Let your hands rest quietly.

And finally,

Let your face be soft and peaceful.

Your body is getting very quiet.

Now bring your attention to your breathing.

You don't have to change it.

Just notice.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

And feel your belly gently rise,

And gently fall.

And your breath knows exactly what to do.

Now imagine your thoughts are like little snowflakes falling inside a snow globe.

At first,

They might be swirling.

But as your body stays very still,

The snowflakes begin to slow down.

And slower.

And slower.

And slower.

Until they softly settle at the bottom.

Your mind is getting quieter.

Your body is calm.

You are safe and peaceful right here.

Take a slow,

Gentle breath in.

And a long,

Soft breath out.

Notice how your body feels now.

Heavier.

Softer.

You can come back to this quiet anytime you need to.

It's always inside of you.

If your body feels sleepy and peaceful,

You can keep resting right here.

Quiet body.

Quiet mind.

You did so beautifully.
