Sweet soul.
Welcome to this special meditation practice called Finding Happiness,
A kid's meditation for finding joy and sparkles within.
Today we'll learn about the amazing power of gratitude and how it can transform our lives in positive ways.
To start,
Find a comfortable position.
You can sit or lie down,
Whatever feels right for you to be able to relax and just be still.
Once you've found your cozy,
Just right spot,
Begin to breathe,
Noticing your breath.
With each inhale,
Taking in more oxygen,
Filling your body with joy.
And each exhale,
Settling deeper into the story.
But a few more times,
Just noticing your breath.
Big breath in,
Big breath out.
Close your eyes and take a moment just to focus on how that breath makes your body feel,
How the air flows in and out of your body,
And how it feels to breathe deeply and fully.
Now let's think about some things in our lives that we are thankful for.
Think about the people,
Experiences,
And things that make you feel happy and grateful.
You might be thankful for your family,
Your friends,
Your pets,
Thankful for your hobbies and your talents.
As you think about these things,
Imagine you can feel a warm,
Glowing light building up inside of you.
This is the power of gratitude,
And it can fill you up with positive energy and happiness,
Joy and sparkles.
Now let's take a moment to say thank you for these things.
You can say it out loud or you can quietly say it to yourself.
Let's say thank you three times.
Each time,
We'll focus on something different that we're grateful for.
Say thank you to your friends and your family who love and support you.
Say thank you for experiences that have helped you to learn and to grow.
Say thank you for the things that bring you joy and make you happy.
As you say thank you,
Imagine the warm,
Glowing energy inside of you is growing.
It's growing stronger and brighter,
With more sparkles and joy.
This energy is full of positive vibes and happiness,
And it can help you feel more confident,
More content,
And more at peace with yourself and the world.
Now,
Let's take a few more deep breaths and let this positive energy flow through your body.
Imagine that it's filling every part of your body with warmth and light,
And that it can help you feel more connected to yourself,
Can help you to feel more connected to others,
And more connected to the world around you.
When you're ready,
Sweet soul,
Slowly open your eyes,
Coming back into the present moment.
Remember that you can always tap into the power of gratitude whenever you want to feel more positive,
Happier,
And fulfilled.
