Resiliency.

Resiliency is the unmistakable richness of recovery.

When we are resilient,

We are able to recover quickly,

Adapt and grow in the moment,

And not let circumstances or others dictate how we will respond.

Resilience comes from the Latin word resili re,

Which means to spring back.

When we look to our own inner strength and guidance,

We build the muscle of resilience and come back to the moment with a new resolve.

In resiliency,

We are celebrating our ability to thrive.

Laurie Schaefer said,

When I peeled back the layers,

I found a beautiful resilience inside.

This is how I know I'll always thrive.

Do you have any examples of how you've practiced resiliency in your recovery?

What is your greatest strength and how do you apply it to your recovery?

I feel great when I remember that at my very core is the resiliency to face any challenge.
