Welcome,
Welcome,
Welcome to.
.
.
Meditation on.
Exploring.
Your inner lake.
As you feel called to just powering down the eyes and slowly adjusting yourself into whatever posture feels right for you in order to be still in this moment.
Taking a few deep breaths.
Allowing yourself to.
.
.
May they rest into the body.
And cradle down into yourself by the out-breath.
Noticing how the breath can both be an anchor and a cradle.
Almost life.
And escalated down.
In the mind.
To the heart.
And lower still.
Finding rest.
In the belly.
Uning rest in the ground of our being.
Okay.
Thank you.
You might find that.
As you're resting.
The mind is quite active.
The heart,
Your emotional space may be quite active.
Rather than using the breath as a distracting anchor,
As a way to come away from thoughts and feelings.
Just allow yourself.
Be taken into the slipstream of the breath.
Almost covered.
By the breath in a way that allows you to just allow your experience as it is in this moment.
It's okay if you're thinking.
It's okay if you're feeling.
Let it all be so.
And continue to ground yourself.
And to a sense of space in the belly.
Using the out-breath.
Noticing on the out-breath how things just seem to open out a little bit as we allow all that's there.
All that's here.
We just notice ourselves,
Relax.
We notice ourselves.
Begin to still.
Begin to calm.
From a flowing river.
To a still light.
On a windless night.
You may find that today.
The stillness of the lake alludes you.
No matter.
Just observe yourself.
As a flowing river.
No matter how fast,
No matter how slow.
Back to the breath.
Here.
Mindfully present.
With what is.
No need to judge.
There's nothing to do.
No success.
No failure.
Cheers.
BANG!
What you are.
Allowing our body and mind to become still.
Like the surface of a lake.
The breath takes us down.
Down,
Down.
See if you can notice the stillness at the bottom.
Down in the belly.
An open stillness.
And it's this stillness,
This place,
This space.
Where the stillness never goes away.
That we can find the capacity to ground into.
To open into,
To fall into,
To rest,
To rest into.
And we all know within ourselves that even when the surface of our lives appears to be a flowing rapid,
This depth is always here.
The depth of the lake.
As always.
Here.
Even as it opens into a river.
By asking ourselves to be still through meditation.
We learn to fall and rest into the depths of our being,
Of our likeness.
Such that we feel it,
Such that we rest into it.
No matter what arises.
On the surface.
River or lake.
No matter.
No difference.
The bottom.
The water is still.
And in meditation,
We give ourselves the chance to feel that depth,
To feel that still water.
To rest into that still water.
By allowing a life.
To just for a brief time.
Become a light.
And as we begin to draw this meditation to a close,
The invitation is to take another three conscious breaths.
And on that out breath.
Allow yourself.
To re-ground,
Re-open into the depths of your inner lake.
And notice as the eyes open.
And you begin to go about your lives yet again.
That these depths of this lake,
These depths of your inner lake,
Never leave as you move into the river of life.
Have a wonderful and peaceful day.
