Beginning today by welcoming ourselves.
To our practice.
To a cushion,
To a mat.
Proceed.
Really welcoming.
Yourself to the here and now with an open heart.
And arriving.
Into a comfortable posture that feels alive.
And letting that aliveness.
Drop you down.
Into the breath.
Only just sensing.
The fluidity of this aliveness and the way we hold our posture in a relaxed way.
Into the natural flow of the breath.
That we now allow.
To become our guide.
Bye.
Mind goes this way and that.
And that's okay.
We notice ourselves.
Getting gripped by our thoughts.
And we just return to the flow of the breath.
That as it arises as the rising and falling of the chest or the expansion and release of the belly.
Nothing to do here.
Truly nothing to do.
Just letting be what will be.
Go,
What will go?
And resting.
Not so much.
With what remains but as.
What remains.
Allowing the exhale to open you out.
Open you in.
The fullness.
Of the moment.
Thank you.
Bye.
Thank you.
Okay.
Just letting yourself go.
Dripping,
Melting.
Opening.
Taking the hand of the unknown.
Taking the hand of the mystery.
And letting it flow.
I truly truly.
Now.
And yet at the bottom of that not knowing.
As we breathe into our gut.
Breathe into our womb to stabilize ourselves.
The ground of being.
Somehow at the bottom of I don't know is a knowing.
Open knowing.
An intimate knowing.
Available the moment we release the grip.
The grip of needing to know.
Needing to be.
You you Thank you.
How open are you to the flow of the mystery?
Jack Kornfield wrote that enlightenment is a deep intimacy with all there is.
How present and intimate are you with your immediate experience?
Can you be deeply with what is,
With simply what is in this spacious unknowing?
Allow a sense of time and space.
Simply fall away.
Feeling the fullness.
Of life in this moment.
In this one world,
Woven together by the implicity of interbeing,
Beauty and tragedy arise in all things as surely as a breath contains an inhale and an exhale.
You I don't know what I'm doing.
Thank you.
Is it truly possible to see the beauty fully without also feeling the tragedy?
Do you sink to the bottom of joy and in it find sorrow?
Can you feel liberation in the release of grief found at rock bottom?
And can you let none of that be present when none of it is present?
Sitting peacefully in the ease of an unburdened heart.
Invitation of this meditation.
Is to sink and slow,
Sink and slow.
Resting with the fullness and depth of what is.
To feel.
The birth,
Life and death of a tree as we sit under it.
Appreciate.
A moment with a loved one.
Feeling its fullness.
And knowing its fragility.
Without needing to look for it.
Resting into the moment offering ourselves peace with all that arises.
Allowing ourselves peace.
With all.
That arises.
Taking the heart.
That experiences the world in this way into the world with us as we go about our day.
Taking a few deep breaths.
And ending this practice on an exhale,
Allowing the world of sight to flow in.
It's something in us.
Has not moved.
Thank you.
Have a wonderful,
Wonderful day.
