Sometimes, we feel like a leaf blowing in the wind of frantic energy. There is much around us that we can pull from for feeling centered, calm, and rooted. This guided meditation helps ground and connect you with the energy of the earth.

Transcript

Finding yourself in a comfortable position,

Either sitting up,

Spine long,

Shoulders lifting up and looping back,

Palms up and open on the tops of the thighs,

Or laying flat down on your back,

Knees and feet rolling away from the center of the body.

Bringing your awareness to your breath,

Inhale and exhale through the nose.

Focus on the way the breath feels as it comes in through the nose on the inhale and out through the nose on the exhale,

With each breath finding yourself more relaxed and centered,

Noticing where the body connects with the surface beneath you,

Imagining each touch point going deeper and deeper until you find yourself connecting all the way down to the center of the earth.

Dear one,

What are you looking for?

What energy do you need to harness from the earth beneath you?

Is it a sense of balance and permanence?

To feel rooted in the present moment?

Acceptance?

Safe and held just as you are,

My love.

Think about what you need most in this moment and allow yourself to draw that sensation up from the earth beneath you.

Breathe into that connection.

Breathe out what needs to be released.

Breathe in balance.

Breathe out uncertainty.

Inhale love.

Exhale fear.

Inhale compassion.

Exhale judgment.

Exhale content.

Exhale unease.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Inhale release.

Relaxing into that connection.

Melting into the earth beneath you.

Feeling the sensations of the earth qualities you need most in this moment,

Trust that this deep rooted support is always with you,

Accessible anytime you need.

This is unconditional,

My love.

By taking the time to return to your breath and focus back to the earth,

You can tap into this grounding support anytime.

Take these next few minutes to allow the body to feel heavy and grounded,

Rooted and connected to the earth.

Long inhales and exhales to reveal a mind that is rested and centered at the final bell.
