In this meditation,
Use soft surrounds and supports that allow you to feel at ease.
If you have some pillows or bolsters,
Blankets.
Even the surface of the ground can be a part of your practice here.
As you create your posture,
Take any fidgets and movements that your body needs.
Allow a sense that feels a little bit like curiosity to come near you,
Somewhere within reach.
Now scan your body to see what is calling your attention the most.
It might be a general area,
A specific spot,
Or something you can't put into words quite yet.
Maybe like a small little nod.
Yeah,
You see and know these beacons in your body and in your mind.
Some of them you may know well,
Some may surprise you.
It's okay for a little smile to change the shape of your inhale.
So take a soft breath in.
And easy out.
Again.
And just a whisper of patience.
A subtle gathering of good.
You are ready to explore the space that often gets overlooked.
Don't be shy.
Feel the sound.
I know a place.
Of dreamy ease.
Completed.
Planes of time.
And lush with nectar.
A real yet invisible tonic.
A hum held between two worlds.
I am the eagle.
Who both rides the storm.
And glides in the thin folds of peace.
Rest.
Listen.
It's time to come back to your body now.
This space you've created.
It's yours.
Claim.
Some room for the continuing hum.
Gathering your senses.
Fold them now with care.
Slowly.
Begin to make some gentle moves.
And draw a breath in.
A sigh of relief as you exhale.
Take these last few moments.
To allow yourself to be free.
