Welcome to this deeply calming meditation.
Will allow any feelings of anxiety to drift into the past.
Beginning by getting as comfortable as you can in a seated position.
Making any last movements that the body feels it needs.
In order to find stillness.
Closing down your eyes.
Switching the focus away from everything in the world around you.
And beginning to observe your internal space.
Noticing your breath as it gently rises and falls.
Notice how deep or shallow your breath is.
Not changing anything.
She is simply observing.
What is present for you in this moment?
And from here we change our breath to a coherent breath.
A breath that balances the inhale and the exhale to find a deep state of calm.
Exhale to begin.
We inhale for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
Exhale 2,
3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 5 6 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale And exhale.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Keep this breath moving.
Letting everything down.
Away from the pace of the external world.
Finding.
A calm,
Balanced breath.
As you begin to notice as the breath balances The body begins to relax.
And as the body relaxes the mind begins to calm.
And knowing that whenever feelings of anxiety arise by simply calming your breath you're inviting the body to feel safe breaking the sensations of emotion.
Instead of labeling it as anxiety.
Feel.
Notice how the body responds.
Taking your awareness to the crown of your head.
Imagining a bright white light.
And this white light begins to soothe,
Relax every muscle it touches.
Scanning all the way from the crown of your head down.
Softening the muscles of your face your jaw.
All the way down through the throat and the shoulders.
All the way through the arms,
The hands.
To the tips of your fingers.
Sulfonating the chest.
Belly.
Completely softening.
The hips and the pelvis.
And all the way down.
Through the legs into the feet.
Every muscle of your body.
Soft.
And relaxed.
Slowly bringing your awareness back into your breath.
And allow these words of affirmation.
To land all the way through your body.
I am calm.
And exactly where I'm supposed to be.
I am calm.
And exactly where I'm supposed to be.
I am calm.
And exactly where I'm supposed to be.
Take a full inhale.
Exhale through an open mouth.
Notice how your body feels.
As you bring gentle movements back to your fingers and your toes.
Bringing the palms of your hands together,
Rubbing them to create warmth and heat.
And place your hand over your eyes.
Gently let little bits of light back in.
As you slowly come back.
Into the space.
