Regulate capacity.
You're not failing,
You're overcapacity.
There's a point where everything starts to feel like too much.
Not because you're incapable,
But because your system is carrying more than it can process.
And most people interpret this as,
I'm not doing enough,
I need to push through,
I just need to get on with it.
But what's happening is actually very different.
Your capacity has been exceeded.
But what is actually happening is very different.
Your capacity has been exceeded.
And a capacity isn't just about how much you can do.
It's about how much you can feel.
It's about how much you can hold.
How much you can process.
And how much you can respond to mentally and physically without your system being overwhelmed and pushed to its limits.
So you can be doing very little and still be overcapacity.
Because capacity is not just about tasks.
It's about emotional load,
Mental noise,
Unprocessed experiences,
Expectations you're holding.
And when your capacity is exceeded,
Your system will start to signal it through constant tiredness,
Procrastination,
Irritation.
Eventually the body,
The mind,
They shut down in burnout.
Not as failure,
But as protection.
The body is intelligent.
It knows what it can hold.
But the mind,
The mind always thinks it can do just that little bit more.
And in that doing,
Pushes the system to the point of breakdown.
And not just physical.
This is also the mental space.
The system cries out,
This is too much.
But instead of listening,
Most of us,
We just push harder and harder.
And that's where things begin to spiral.
Because you're no longer working with the intelligence of your system.
You're working against it.
Regulation in this context is not about becoming more productive.
It's about becoming more honest.
What can I actually hold right now?
Not what should I be able to hold?
What can I actually hold right now?
What is true in this moment?
What is true today?
You're not behind.
You're not failing.
You may simply be carrying more than your system can process in this moment.
And the minute you stop pushing against that,
Space begins to return.
Not all at once,
But enough to start again from somewhere real.
Allow your breath to become slower.
As you allow those ideas to sink into the matrix of the system.
Remember,
It doesn't happen all at once,
But enough for you to be able to start somewhere real.
Have a wonderful day.
