Snippets of Wisdom.
What brings you joy?
Do you ever ask yourself these questions?
What brings me joy?
What makes me happy?
This hit me squarely in the heart when I read that Abraham Hicks suggested we ask ourselves the following questions.
Where is my greatest joy?
What makes me happy?
What can I do today that will bring me the greatest amount of joy?
How often do we allow our greatest joy to be the priority when doing things?
How often do we ask ourselves what makes us happy?
Abraham tells us that we are joy and that our life's purpose is to experience as much joy as possible.
Why are we not mindful of making joy our number one priority?
We've been indoctrinated to believe that working hard,
Struggling,
Hammering out the details,
Hustling,
And sacrificing gets us ahead in life.
We can know that's a lie because it feels so bad when we're doing all the things to our emotional,
Physical,
And spiritual detriment.
These are not what our inner beings believe.
Our inner beings won't even go there with us.
That's the negative discord we're feeling.
We believe and do exactly what is in opposition to the inspiration of our inner beings.
We're not listening.
It's time to take up the challenge of asking ourselves these questions daily.
Here they are again.
What is my greatest joy?
What makes me happy?
What can I do today that will bring me the greatest amount of joy?
Sure,
You may need to go to work,
Take care of the kids,
Cook,
Clean,
Go to the dentist,
But what can you find about everything you're doing that offers a glimmer of joy or happiness in these things?
Then,
When you have a moment,
Even if it's five minutes,
What can you do in that time that brings you the greatest amount of joy?
Look for the joy.
Look for the happy.
The more we train our brains to look for happiness and joy,
The more we will find these experiences.
It's the law of attraction at work on our behalf.
You could grumble through everything you must do or you could look for glimpses of joy because you've asked your brain to look for those things.
Happy asking yourself about your joy.
Big hugs,
Marianne.
