Snippets of Wisdom number 73.

Script in the Present Tense.

Do you use scripting as a technique to create your dream life story?

Do you journal various scenarios that feel good?

Do you dream up the script of your happily ever after movie?

Writing your exhilarating life story is one of the best ways to achieve your dreams.

Sure,

It's wonderful to write it down and review it often,

And even map out ways to achieve it.

But there's even science behind it.

A Forbes article stated,

Quote,

But there's another deeper phenomenon happening,

Encoding.

Encoding is the biological process by which the things we perceive travel to our brain's hippocampus,

Where they're analyzed,

End quote.

Another study concluded that the simple act of writing can strengthen the neural pathways associated with memory and goal achievement.

The physical act of writing helps with encoding information into your brain,

Making it more likely to be remembered and acted upon.

If you have performed scripting before,

Did you write it in the third person,

As if you're looking in on someone else's life?

Or did you write it in the first person,

Present tense,

Telling your story as if it's happening now?

Did you write it with all the heightened emotions you could conjure as you wrote your story?

May I suggest that you script your dream life story in the first person and in the present tense?

Here's why.

Writing in the first person declares that this is your story.

It's personal and you take ownership of it.

Writing in the present tense encourages you to feel it now.

That's where your power is.

It's in the now.

Everything you're creating is in the now.

Writing with heightened emotions ignites the vibrational momentum.

The universe doesn't distinguish if you're imagining your script or if it's a current fact happening now.

Your attention to your dream life script sends a vibrational message to the universe to tend to your vibrational output and match it.

The universe can't distinguish whether it's real or imagined.

This scripting process was so important to me that I wrote a book entitled,

My Dream Life Storybook,

Manifesting Your Desires Through Visualization and Scripting,

Offering 30 topics and writing prompts to get your scripting juices flowing.

I'll add one more suggestion.

Ensure you're not scripting in the future tense where there might be slight resistance or a feeling of lack.

Example phrases,

I like to rather than I would like to.

Make it feel like you're experiencing it all now.

Happy scripting your special happily ever after.

Big hugs,

Marianne.
