Snippets of Wisdom Lacking Confidence is Confidence Did you know that whenever we feel like we lack confidence,
We do not actually lack confidence?
Here's the rub.
We have confidence.
We're just not directing it toward what we want.
We're directing it toward what we don't want or lack.
I was rereading my journal and I came across something that I wrote last year.
It was based on a conversation Bashar had with an audience member.
Let me read it to you.
You're always confident.
You may be creating an experience in which you lack confidence,
But it takes confidence to do that.
You are just confident that you lack confidence.
A lack of confidence is confidence.
It's confidence,
But not in what you want.
This was a light bulb in the soul moment as I reflected on this concept.
We all have confidence in so many areas of our lives.
Confidence is natural to our core essence.
So,
Why do we experience a feeling of lack when it comes to being a confident person?
It's because we question who we are.
We struggle to remember that we are love,
Joy,
Freedom,
Clarity,
All-knowing,
And pure positive well-being.
Too many of us have been indoctrinated to believe self-confidence is arrogant and self-centered.
Our parents or other people in authority forgot who they were and taught us to forget.
We're told we're too much and to tone it down because we're showing off and that makes others uncomfortable.
But now that we're grown,
We have the freedom to remedy that indoctrination by choosing better feeling beliefs about who we are.
True self-confidence is self-love,
And self-love is a great thing.
As a matter of fact,
Abraham Hicks says that self-love and self-appreciation are the essence of who Source is.
That means when we honor ourselves with love and appreciation,
We are experiencing ourselves as the essence of Source.
Now that's some great confidence,
Pointed directly toward what we want.
As eternal extensions of Source,
We are purely confident,
Full of love and appreciation for who we are.
Go forth and be confident,
Knowing you are Source-embodied.
Loving self-confidence is enhanced by daily practice of meditation and listening to inspiring talks.
See you tomorrow.
Big hugs,
Marianne.
